I just hate how we bash guys that helped us win, he's gone. To criticize is one thing but we have "fans" that do nothing but bash, go root for another team, go find another hobby(this is to miserable fans ion general not to anyone specific). There is a chance we may never see them win, we all want a SB but if they never do I have a million great(and bad) memories of watching games either in person or at home w/ family, friends, etc... if these guys upset people so much they really should find a new hobby.

There isn't much difference btw the 2 Giants SB runs and our title game runs other than the Giants got breaks we didn't. all 4 title games could have gone the other way. it's not like the Giants have had a Pats run of success the last decade+.

I can agree with that (and a previous post of mine confirms it as well):
I never really got it with 24/7 darksiders either. That's not to say that the Jets are teflon and above second guessing or getting called out on a lousy effort, but the 24/7 bashing almost seems like there are some who aren't happy unless they're unhappy, or feel more comfortable making an isssue out of a tissue. You listening Champ69?... haha..

Gotta be pretty damn lucky to win 2 Super Bowls in 5 years.

    Now that's some advanced darksiding.

It's obvious how it happened. Idzik made the call from upstairs.

Just like the Kobra Kai sensei in Karate Kid: "Sweep the leg..."

When did I say he was going to the Raiders or Vikings? I was just using an example from last year. I am 100% confident we will see QB positions open up across the league when QBs struggle/get injured.

And if Geno is so great then I 100% expect him to reach the AFC Championship game this season, the roster he has right now is comparable to the Jets teams that made the championship game. Lets see if this team can get to the playoffs, and if Geno can elevate the team the way Sanchez did in games such as Cincy or New England.

Rex Ryan was once my second favorite Jets coach, but as time went on I realized he had fooled us and he himself is nothing more than a fool. I will be having a party when he gets fired at the end of the season. I hope is we get a new GM too.

I am pretty sure behind the scenes Idzik is "forcing" Rex to start the season with Geno. Any coach on the hot seat is not going to put his faith in a QB who has been really shaky. (I would rather start with Vick, and if he fails or gets hurt than bring Geno in)

they won their title games in OT, they weren't the '86 Giants dominating teams. They played great during those runs but in 2011 2 easy INTs are dropped b/c each time 2 SF DBs collide, late in the game Ahmad Bradshaw fumbles and they call it dead. If they make the proper call SF is in FG range to win it. for us Sanchez throws the ball, they call it a fumble and it is returned for a TD. that's how close we were to opposite outcomes.

Why don't you just put on Blue and be a Giants fan instead.

I promise, no one will miss you.

Facts. Now that the team is comparable, we shall see.

You're not wrong, by the way.

About what? is this a playoff roster? yes. So when the Jets are in the playoffs there should be no reason as to why Geno can replicate that 139 Rating Sanchez had in Cincy, or the 127 rating he had in New England.

You guys get real, Geno isnt Sanchez and likely will never get to where Sanchez got by playing out of his mind.

And if you are saying I am to harsh, then explain to me whats stopping Geno from going into the playoffs and putting up a 127 QB Rating, or a 139 QB Rating in New England. I mean if that evil Mark Sanchez can do it, then it should be no problem for Geno or anyone for that matter.

There should be no reason why Sanchez shouldn't beat out Foles after all he did go to back to back AFC Championship games.

But yet you put up a bitch fit if anybody blames him for not making the playoffs in '11 and '12. This is exactly what I'm talking about.

He will beat out Foles, but that doesnt matter because the head coach makes the final decision on who starts.
