Whatever. I get sick of people piling on Rex any time we lose, it goes with the territory, that's who Rex is. If you don't like it too bad, we're only on Sunday Night in the first place because of Rex. If you'd rather have buttoned-down Mangini back have at it, most of us don't.
It's crazy, we see this all the time. This is who Rex is, he'll do dumb things from time to time, his teams will lose some games they should win, he'll have his teams bounce back when you think they are dead and he'll have his teams ready to play in January.
Almost every coach loses games he should win in the NFL, the talent is too close throughout the league. Rex sets himself up as a target, so any time we don't win it's very easy for the Michael Kays, Francessars, Imuses, etc, to take pot shots. Takes no talent at all to do that. But Rex isn't scared of that, that's why it works for him. He'll get up there on Monday and tell it like it is, and like you said rally the team to bounce back. He's 29-18 2-1/2 years into his career, I'll put that up against any coach in Jets history and win.

i blame the organization. if we didnt have hugs psl's and ticket prices,we wouldnt have these douchebag pat fans anywhere near or sideline.we would have real consistent sth sitting there. and if this pats fan did get there,the fans would have kicked his ass. Not really. Woody Johnson is like the guy who owns a McDonalds franchise, sure he hires the personnel, but Mcdonalds (or the NFL) still sets the rules of employment, that is how franchising works. Edit- despite the intricacies of franchising the greater point was that you clearly had no idea what the right to free speech is. It is protection from being arrested or otherwise punished for speech BY THE GOVERNMENT, private companies and citizens are not effected.

So apparently according to PFT Rex can expect a 75,000 to 100,000 dollar fine. This is what's wrong with the NFL, you deliver a hit that could potentially ruin a guys career or life and you get a 15 to 20 thousand dollar fine. You scream at a fan and potentially hurt their feelings and you get 5 times the amount. Goodel must go.
