There are all kinds of stories out there on Richie. Including sexual harrassment. If just 10% of them are true then Rex had better know exactly what's going on ten feet away from him. He won't be able to plead ignorance the way Philbin did. You would think Richie would be on his best behavior. But I'm not sure he's capable of it. Esp after he settles in and gets comfortable. He won't need jet skies in Buff but a snowmobile paid for by rookies might be nice.
He's an undisciplined penalty machine. Rex is going to let him run the asylum. Get ready for a serious shit show. this has real potential to be completely awesome for the rest of the afce.
The Buffalo O line is pretty shitty so I could see why they would bring in a veteran for depth atleast for traing camp if nothing else, looks like Buffalo is gonna be a top candidate for Hard Knocks this year
This guy has always been a very good player, his play was never the problem. To suggest it was is as retarded as your analogy. The Bills probably had the wost guard situation in the league last year. The worst. How is signing this guy to a low money deal a bad idea? Its not like we traded picks or have anything invested in this guy like the Jets did with Cromartie or Santonio. If we bring this guy in and he's a jackass, he gets cut. If we bring him in and he performs, then we just drastically upgraded our guard situation for cheap. And Richie knows that.
He sucks, or is a distraction, you cut him. Not much to lose here imo.. But Rex is the coach, so he won't be cut no matter what, and he could be Rex's new Colon. So there's that.
Rex likes players with a chip on their shoulder thinking they'll give it their all to prove people wrong. Sent from my LG-LS720 using Tapatalk
Its a bad idea cause he can destroy a locker room. Happened already and would've cost a coach and GM their jobs if Miami had a competent owner. That risk might be worth it for an above average player (like Holmes and Cromartie)..but Incognito is below average and has been for a few years. Now he's coming in having sat out a whole season and a half. Jets guard situation hasnt been great either..I would not be happy if they brought him here. Why you are is beyond me.
The guy has always been a penalty machine and a dipshit. His play on the field has been good at times but never good enough to justify his stupidity and knack for dumb ass penalties. You're not getting a perennial pro-bowler here. You're getting a guy who one year in his 10 year career was a pro-bowl alternate. Calling him a "very good player" is fantastically homerific, but no one is surprised considering the source.
i love how fandom completely influences peoples opinions regarding players. buffalo fans think he is good, new york fans think he sucks. of course they do. because they arent looking at his actual career or what he brings they are merely looking at it through whatever colored glasses they have allegiance to.
