Really? He "allowed" Rivers to throw for 300 yards? Rivers had an off day and was 27-40, with 5 dropped passes and a BS Int that VJ should have caught. Certainly not taking anything away from the Jets. They won, and, thus, were the better team. Can't fault them for capitalizing on undisciplined Chargers play and stupid mistakes - they were always around the ball to capitalize on those mistakes. Just saying...the Bolts finally got in desperation mode (no running, downfield passing) and players finally started making plays...just too little too late. I dont think it was as much as the Jets D going "soft" as the Chargers finally figuring out where their heads were, and finally took it out of their asses for a brief moment. I do believe that if they play that kind of inspired football against the Colts that they will win.
