I disagree. If Rex held the meeting as scheduled we'd get nothing of value out of it. At least now he has time to think of what to say and do so without worrying about trashing Tanny. I think we'll get a more honest interview now, not 100% truthful (no coach is), maybe not even 60% but a lot more than we could have gotten from him had he held it as originally scheduled.

They should pay the fine and not do the Presser. Also they should spend the off season making blunt bullet point press releases and refuse to answer any question with more then a "no comment". I would agree last year, but he sealed his own fate. Rex didn't do him any favors by throwing him out there week after week. He is done.
Which should come out of Rex's own wallet. If he's not going to pay for this mess with his job, let him at least pay for going into hiding this week.
And you don't give up on him because you want to hear angry howls of protest at the stadium after he throws a few picks, which he will? Seriously, what business can afford to poke its customers in the eye repeatedly? That's what putting Sanchez on the field next year would likely do. They have to fire Rex at a minimum in order to be able to keep Sanchez around next season.
