10-6! I going full optimist here while completely ignoring the pessimistic voice in my head.

darnold is probably the biggest factor. gase i think plays a part as well. fans here weren't exactly high on bowles to start last year so it's one of those can't be worse deals. plus greg williams. not to mention big free agents like bell and crowder, osemele on the o-line, mosely replacing lee who was very hated here. really we are moving in a good direction

 

This is a tough one, it really depends on how they start the season in the first 6 games. I can see them possibly going 7-3 the last 10 games but they could start the season 1-5 or up to 3-3 (anything better than a 3-3 start is unlikely but if it happens look out they could be a playoff team). I'm going with 8-8. I think they'll start 2-4 and finish the last 10 games 6-4, just enough to show improvement to excite the fan base but sprinkle in a few maddening losses (it's the Jets ya know) to remind fans they aren't quite there yet.

 

If it displayed polls it wouldn't have enough space for its self-advertising.

 

I normally love it, but it's been real fucked up this past week. The ads sometimes go over some posts, and I need to Houdini it, and sometimes I get notifications on likes, and quotes that happened hours earlier.

Still better than using the web browser to go on the site though. (On phone)

 

well my original thought was 6 -10 but the more I look at this secondary I am leaning towards 5 - 11 or dare I say it ? Worse ?

The brutal 7 games to start the season will likely kill our season. The optimist in me said maybe we can start 3 and 4 then win the next 5. The realist said we are likely to win between 0 and 2 of the first 7. We have a very talented team but we are weakest in the most important areas in OL, edge rusher and cb. We might end up in a lot of high scoring games.

I am just hoping the rough schedule does not cause the team to give up and have us mail in the last 9 games. I don't think Sam will let a rough start destroy the Jets season.

I hope I am wrong.

8-8, and unfortunately I think I might be being optimistic. Just too many holes in this team.

 

9-7, 2nd half of schedule is nice. We just have to squeeze out a couple wins in first 6 weeks.

 

Well my opinion hasn't changed much since the thread was created, but I'm trying to not get my hopes up too much, so here we go. Putting it down on record now...
