Btw, what exactly has Matthew Stafford won?

And do you seriously think Geno is anywhere near Stafford's class?

    Wow.

Id want Carr. Dont know if he'd make it. Manziel and McCarron could be in play around then as well.

As for the "who does he throw to" questions- we can follow in rounds 2 and 3 with two WR's and a TE. Its a very deep class. I can name about 10 guys that could go in the first 2 rounds. Im sure one or two could even slip to one of our 3rds. Watkins, Evans, Lee, Adams, Robinson, Matthews, Cooks, Landry, Beckham and Richardson.

In FA we can solidify the line with a guard like Jon Asomoah. At this point I think its better to sign OLmen who have experience for a young QB.

Its definitely possible to rebuild this offense this offseason, or at least lay a solid foundation; the organization just has to commit themselves to it.

+ a gazillion. We have at least 7 more picks after round 1 and possibly 8-11.

Using the first round pick on a WR or a TE does NOT restock the entire cupboard.

Use picks 2, 3a, 3b, 4, 5, 6, 7 and ALL our comp picks to stock the offensive cupboard.

We probably do not have a franchise QB on our roster--pick one--the best one--Carr, McCarron, Manziel, Mettenberger in round 1, sit him for a year, develop him like he should be developed and let's build this franchise the right way.

If Geno is really just a mediocre QB--and we don't know either way--let's not concentrate on filling in the stuff around him--lets give ourselves a shot a a true franchise QB.

Drafting a QB first round doesn't automatically mean they will be studs. We have the absolute worst skill players in the NFL. Spending that second round pick on Stephen Hill obviously has really helped a lot (sarcasm). When guys like Evans, Lee, and Watkins are all available I don't see how you pass. With a deep QB class I don't see another first round pick coming. We won't have any chance getting Bridgewater. I wouldn't mind McCarron or Manziel but I wouldnt want Carr, regardless none of them will fall to us most likely. With both Murray and Mettenberger hurt both of their draft stock could fall and I wouldn't mind spending a 3rd on them or Fales.

JStokes i feel like you just say "oh this QB draft is awesome, pick the first one that falls to us" without watching film on any of these guys.
johnny football might be awesome in college football, but i, along with a lot of other people, can't predict how he will be in the NFL. he doesn't read defenses for shit, has the best OT in football, and runs a lot. his footwork is pretty poor (although it has improved) and when he's in trouble he just bombs it to mike evans, something he clearly can't do on the jets.
zach mettenberger just hyperextended his knee, but he has played extremely well this year up until the end. under pressure his mechanics and proper technique go straight out the door and he goes back to the mistakes he used to make. also the guy has an elite tackle, jarvis landry, and odell beckham. im not taking him at 11 just yet
derek carr has all the potential in the world. i love his arm, footwork, and IQ. i question the competition he has faced and want to see more of him to make a full decision.

look dude, youre just assuming these QBs are going to be really good. Minus bridgewater (and even he isn't), i don't consider any of these QBs locks to be franchise QBs. I'd rather take a QB later like Murray, McCarron, or Fales.

Also don't kid yourself about starting a first round rookie QB, this is New York

I've watched all these guys a lot this year. A lot. Other than Carr and after hearing about him I decided to watch him this past weekend and was blown away.

Was never a fan of drafting Geno and I see 8 guys BETTER than him this year. Now 7 because Mariota is staying.

If folks think Geno is a franchise QB then I think there are 7 better franchise QBs coming out this year.

    That's what I want.

I don't know where I stand on the top Tight End. Is it Ebron or Jace Amaro? I want the guy who is bigger, and also I like this, we can fill our holes in free agency, because I think we spend a lot of money, because we have money to burn and Woody absolutely HAS to spend money or else fans will riot we cannot afford to let a FA class this talented pass us by

I think where we are picking (anywhere from #5-#12 IMO) that it would be a tad high for a tight end, but who knows what the combine will do for guys. I think the only players we should spend a high pick on is WR, OLB, S, and a QB but if we trade down I would want Jace Amaro or Ebron, we need a god damn tight end.

Jace Amaro IMO. But if we are drafting in the top 10, it might be a little bit too high for him.

I agree, would have to trade back Amaro is my pick at like #17 not #7, at #7 I want a Marquis Lee, Sammy Watkins, Khalil Mack, CJ Mosley, or Clinton Dix

I mean Laron, we get compensation since he signed a nice deal with IND that could warrant us a late 4th round pick in compensation. Add that with our original 4th and we could stand with 6 picks in the 1st 4 rounds.
