I heard Drew Coleman recount his injury on 1050 leaving the game last night. Coleman got kicked in the stomach. His body started quivering and cramping up. He went in the back to get an I.V. and then tried to return to the game. He felt 70% and could have returned to the game, but because he was covering Harvin and Harvin was playing really well, Coleman said it wasn't fair to his team if he came in at 70%. So Coleman ultimately decided not to return. The Docs cleared him tho. He should be fine.
So according to your plan, you want a guy who hasn't practiced in 3 weeks to play against one of the best passing offenses in the league? Like I said before...
Kyle Orton came from The Land Of Over-Achieving Backup Quarterbacks, a remote region ruled mercilessly by Emperor Jeff George. If Revis isn't back yet, I wouldn't be surprised to see Joe McKnight activated for depth, as well as every d-back on the 53 man roster.
Didn't say don't practice. I said sit him...as in sit him for the games. Limit in practice till healthy, but don't play him till he's ready. I'd sit him (out of games) until at least GB.
I don't think we'll ever see the same revis again. He got his money and his douchebag conglomerate with fucks like Geiger and his holdout uncle sean. AFAIC he will just use his hamstring as an excuse all season. I think someone should assassinate that faggot Geiger so revis becomes humbled and plays to avenge his boyfriends death
Wow, nearly 20 minutes and no reply to this, I'm shocked. 09 Revis had a legendary season, no one can replicate that. I certainly am pissed at Revis for how his holdout was handled but your statements are a tad overboard. Revis is a competitor, who is still Not in NFL shape. He held-out, got injures week 2 so he's just far behind the point where his body needs to be at. I think they should work him out as hard as they possibly can and hope that in basically what will be 3 weeks that he'll be close to his former self. This year is going to be tough for Revis but he's going to have to take a backseat to Cro. Can the Jets get some money back now?? Ummm, no. Lol
After listening to Rex's presser it sounds like 24 was just experiencing normal soreness for someone who hasn't played in a while. I'm betting he plays Sunday. edit: Forgot to sign this @incarseratedWhiteShoeWillie
I got blocked by that asshole prisoner. I said advertising that you've been in prison is like advertising that you have AIDS.
It sounds really harsh but it's warranted, he's done it to himself. I like Revis as much as the next guy and always have but I won't defend him for doing nothing this season. It's obvious Revis is jaded.. Last season and the money got to his head. If he comes back to a semblance of Revis last season everything is forgotten and we all circlejerk in the revis thread. I fear we won't see that revis or anything close to it for the rest of his tenure with the jets - hint: he's gone after 2011.
I don't know about you guys but this denver game scares the shit out of me. 1)Neckbeard has been shredding some of the best secondaries in the NFL and ours without a 100% Revis has proven to be suspect at best. 2)Despite horrendous run blocking the Denver Oline has been protecting Orton very well, if we all-out blitz them and they pick it up Orton is not going to miss his mark, he's one of the most accurate passers in the NFL. 3) They literally have like 4 good-very good receivers(Gaffney, Royal, Lloyd, Thomas, plus Buck can catch passes out of the backfield) 4) Playing in Denver is always tough, their fans are as crazy as we are :breakdance: This may be our toughest game yet, Sanchez will need to be on his game.
The Ravens just gave us the blueprint to beat them. Our defense is the Ravens with a better secondary. But Baltimore has a better front 7, much better. Josh McDaniels is a very beatable coach.
We can win, no doubt. But I think this isn't going to be as easy as it looks, of course I hope I'm wrong and we kick the snot out of them 38-3.:jets:
They can get into a shootout with the Jets with ease. But the one thing the Jets have on this game is that the Broncos will be missing a lot of starters, and Dawkins is the glue that holds that defense together. His intangibles are the heart of any defense he starts on. Without him, and 4 other starters, this Jets offense should run the ball and pass with ease. The Jets redzone defense is good enough to keep an offense than can't score in the redzone from scoring in the redzone.
We'll run all over them for 2 reasons: A- they can't stop the run B- keep the ball out of their offense's hands
