Sad thing is, Jets defense wasn't even on the field that long. Most of Favres TD drives were really short. We had the time of possession battle in our favre of almost 2/1 ratio. No way should be be as tired as he was if that is indeed the reason for his sub par play.
This site has Rolex watches for $100...is that where he bought the watches from? http://www.chinawholesalebiz.com/product.asp?cid=8&sid=87
Revis has still yet to really practice. He was with the Jets a week and a half and he was injured. Even all of last week he was on a bike and then limited for the last practice. He's still way far behind in getting to NFL shape.
Gets better every day. Revis just found out he doesn't run the team or decide whether he plays or not. "Jets coach Rex Ryan will decide whether Darrelle Revis will play in New York's next game at Denver on Sunday after saying he mistakenly allowed the star cornerback to make that determination for Monday night's game. "It's going to be on me," Ryan said Wednesday. "It's going to be put on my shoulders." http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/football/nfl/10/13/jets.revis.ap/index.html?eref=sihp
revis is probably fine. he was just rusty as hell, and on ESPN 1050 they said they didn't see him limp at all, or show signs of being injured. plus on the after game show on SNY...I saw Revis greeting the fans jumping up, and down giving high fives. revis is probably embarressed that he isnt playing well right now(due to hold out) and is making excuses.
agreed 100%. And the whole reason he was hurt is because he held out all of training camp and did not practice. Allowing him to rest and hold out of practice is not going to get him in game shape. Make the pre-madona practice and earn his contract.
i dunno. i doubt he is seriously hurt. i think he is seriously rusty. if he was hurt he would of taken himself out of the fucking game.
I think that is true but I also think Revis might be a bit tentative to really open it up. I hope to God he's not thinking about popping his hammy when he's out their.
That's exactly what I think is going on. He looked fine in the first half of that game and just wore down because he's not in game shape.
Revis is definitely an extremely competitive and prideful guy, but there's no way he would pretend to be hurt and miss games because of one amazing play by a hall of fame QB to a hall of fame WR (Brady to Moss). Oh, and Broncos fans are funny: http://forums.denverbroncos.com/showthread.php?t=174608
so whats going to happen is revis may rest, and get over his hammy, but be rusty as shit til week 11.
I know I do. If he is so hurt why is he practicing today? Why did he play the whole game without complaining? Why is he not limping? Combine that with Rex's comments this week about "this isnt vacation time...we need him on the field" and it smells like a smoke screen from Revis to hide the fact he is out of shape and playing like crap.
ding ding ding. it's obvious. i dunno if a corner ever had a season like revis did last year. thrown at like 130 times? completed 40 passes? picked off 7 times? wtf????? on a number 1 wr? he is embarrassed for his shit play. http://www.newyorkjets.com/photos-a...nterview/69def229-d5e3-481d-9dbd-b03235398b2d ^revis locker room interview.
