    Lankster is alright, too.

I feel more comfortable with Wilson on the outside than playing the Nickle, he doesn't keep his head on a swivel enough.

I have no idea what the Jets are thinking. Ideally, you want to take one offense, one defense. Warmack and Austin would be my top choices maybe. I'm not sure about the linebackers.

I don't really think that's true. If they wanted to pay Revis his demands, I think they could have made it work salary-cap wise. I just think there was no way Woody was doing that, especially after the first Revis fiasco, and in that sense its arguably a smart football decision.

Rex Ryan would give his left nut for CJ Spiller. That is, if he didnt already eat it.

325 yards and 2 TDs against the jets last year in 2 games.

But this thread isn't about the Bills or Spiller, so let's get back to this trade.

What about the Jets using those 2 picks to get ahead of the teams that need QBs and taking their man? Any chance of that?

Dude, we're rebuilding. I get it. Let's not act like we got rid of a guy who was holding us back though lol. Let's not act like we're doing anything special without him. We're trading away our best player and HOPING we draft the right players with the picks we get. That's it. I don't know where this "we're competing" stuff is coming from. Only thing we're competing for is Clowney and Johnny Football at this point.

HB's not named Adrian Peterson are a dime a dozen in the NFL.

Congrats though, you have 1 good player, and he plays a position which no one would ever give much up for.

At no point in that post did he say anything that wasn't true. It's ok to admit that your opinion is partly biased by the fact that and I'm taking an educated guess that Revis is your favorite player. It's understandable, I loved Keyshawn Johnson I was pissed the day they traded him but things worked out. Granted we didn't win the SB but eventually Key did so we got some good players and Keyshawn became irrelevant but played on a SB winning team. I was bummed that we didn't but was happy that Key did.

So you would rather have a guy tie up money and limit our picks? Brilliant!

If the Jets actually took those two picks and traded up to take a QB this year I'd turn in my fan card.

Luckily Idzik isn't that dumb from what I've seen so far.

Wish we had the 9 + 13 last year. Could've used them to trade up with the Rams for RGIII.

Oh really, just 1? How many Bills players would start on the Jets right now?

    At RB: Spiller and Jackson
    WR: Stevie Johnson
    TE: Scott Chandler
RT: Cordy Glenn, Erik Pears, Christ Hairston would all start over Howard
RG: Wood and Urbik would start over DuCasse

DT/NT: Dareus and Kyle Williams would start over Ellis any day.
OLB: Mario Williams, Mark Anderson, Manny Lawson over the scrubs the Jets have right now.
CB: Gilmore would start over Kyle Wilson
    S: Byrd

But yeah, we only have 1 good player. Will you stop this argument now and get back to the trade?

    Too many holes.

Who is going to play QB for the Bills again? Kevin Kolb, right? Are they going to give him 50M$ the first time he throws for 2 touchdowns?

I would expect Wilson to start unless the Jets try to convert him to safety. I think the Jets would take a CB wherever the value was right in the draft.

Would they take a QB with one of their firsts?

Doubt it........I would not be surprised if we trade out from 9 or 13 to someone like MIN or STL if they want Tavon Austin. Just a matter of if your Bills take Austin at 8 or entertain trading down to help a team get Austin at 8.

So you're saying the Bills have better pieces at some positions than a team in full on rebuild mode. Well, fucking crown the Bills right now! GM of the year!

I saw a tweet saying the Jets ideal first is Austin and Mingo then trading up in the second for EJ Manuel.

first off, I want nothing to do with Mingo. I also don't want Austin as much as some do. second, we shouldn't be trading up, because then we lose picks. we need all the picks we can get.

I don't want Geno Smith. He's average at best. Beef up the O-Line then go for the QB next year.
