Wow, they will stop at nothing to cover anything Jets related, particularly negative. A routine traffic stop? What next? Back page headlines that Rex and the Mrs. disagreed over where to go out for dinner?
He says he won't contest it but he will. Anything more that 34 mph over the speed limit is an automatic license suspension in this state.
Yea because none of us have ever gone over 80mph. This is a bullshit story to trump up those that like to paint the Jets as out of control. He was speeding. Common in NJ.
A year ago he probably could have gotten away with it, but I hope they throw the book at the pussy. They actually should have taken him to the station right then and had his car towed, so he did get star treatment as it was.
I'm surprised it took this long for someone to throw the race card out there. Maybe he was conspicuous because he was doing double the fucking speed limit.
This just in: Joannyd the Jets fan took a shit in the shower. The Jets really need to be on the lookout for such absurd fan behavior as it will surely become a distraction for the team.
I think you just made this up. And also, he got a Careless, not a speeding ticket. 2 points. No loss of license even if you're right. (As an NJ speeder, this concerns me. Never heard of this, nothing posted on NJ MVC website.) You need 12 points. 30+ over AND a reckless with it would only give you 10.
I don't go on Eisenhower much, but I know on Rt.280 I usually hit 80mph at some point. And usually get passed when doing so. And I am not driving a sports car. Nature of the beast in NJ.
80 in a 40 doesn't sound good. It's at the very least not smart. Unless it's one of those roads where everyone is speeding at and it really should be like 55. Then it's still not great, but more understandable. I'm not too familiar with the Eisenhower Parkway, so I don't know for sure. Nor do I really care that much. As long as he's not doing 80 in a 25.
