Not if you ever want said injury to heal. It sounds like a slightly pulled or strained muscle. If it's week 16 a player pushes through. If it's week 3 that player needs to address it now or else he's playing the rest of the year with it if he's going to try to push through it. It doesn't sound like anything too major but I'd error on the side of caution with something like this. We're not talking about a bum elbow, a broken hand or even a bone bruise. We're talking about the most important part of a cornerbacks body.
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/09/28/darrelle-revis-on-hamstring-ill-be-fine/#comments Revis now tweaked his hamstring in addition to the groin...says he'll be fine. Let's hope.
For injured player like deck, Ivory, revis this is a big week for them. I'm of the school that we should sit or limit these guys this week in London. We get the bye week after and that's gives these guys 2 weeks to get fully healed. I know it sucks but I think we can weather the storm against Miami and get these starters back fully healed for the remaining 12 games
i agree. i wouldnt even have them travel to london. give them this week off then the buy and they have 2-3 weeks to recover. we arent beating miami with or without those guys anyhow.
Groin injuries are scary. Because of the blood flow in the area muscles take longer to heal and there is a higher chance of reinjury. This team has a chance to make a serious playoff run, and maybe even go deep into the playoffs if the defense plays. Revis needs to sit until week 7 and heal it up completely in time for the stretch run. This team will be in the hunt without him, and a late run is better than an early one.
Fuck! Stop posting in this shitty ass thread! Everytime I forget about it, it gets bumped to the top and gives me a 1/2 second panic attack
Lol, I'll give you props for at least admitting you were wrong. Now the last thing to do is admit you were wrong about David Harris : )
