That October WR market is never very good. He was brought in for much-needed depth anyway, he's not going to be the go-to guy on Monday night.
I don't know who everyone wants? to sign a big name, older guy? what will that do? our WR corps is screwed right now but getting Keller back will help and as Hill develops that will help. we don't have a great group of WRs but the issue is more the OL and lack of run game/lack of pass protection than anything else.
Stephen Hill is still an unknown, he needs to get the hamstring better but I love how people are giving up on him after one bad game. We used a #2 pick on him, he has size and speed, caught a couple TDs in his debut, let's see what he can do. We need Keller back in the worst way, and Kerley has been dynamite when we've been able to get him the ball in stride. Get me those three guys healthy and let's take our chances. Or we can cancel the last 12 of 16 games and cry on here until the 2013 draft, either one.
Exactly its getting ridiculous. When have the Jets ever been cheap? It sounds like Mets fans all of a sudden. Theres no one good out there to be offering multi million dollar contracts too.
Kerley has been doing good when he gets the ball but I don't see him as an outside receiver. Perfect slot tho.
