I don't understand the disdain for Kyle Wilson. Which nickle DB in the league is so much better? Or are you just comparing him to a distant memory of Ray Mickens?
It wasnt knocking Kyle Wilson, it was just the credibility of Rex & CO on hyping up guys TOO much, and them not coming close to meeting these expectations. Plus I personally think the biggest issue with Wilson is where he got drafted. Drafting a nickle corner in the first round, and you really gotta expect him to be like one of the most elite nickle corners in the game. If we got Kyle Wilson in the 3rd or 4th (hell even 2nd) I think hed be a tremendous pick up. Although I dont really complain about the pick , since that just was a shitty fucking draft class in general
I agree, off of his combine numbers, I thought we got a late first round steal. But up until now, Kyle has underperformed his draft slot. Hopefully, there's still room for improvement.
