No, but then I don't recall ever saying that he was dead to me. I'm glad he re-signed. He signed for less than was rumored, so evidently wasn't as greedy as the media had portrayed him, although he didn't have any leverage.
Whether they can overpay or not is irrelevant. Why in the hell should they overpay for a mediocre jag veteran? Mac should be fired if he knowingly overpays for a stiff like Fitz. Some of the ideas you guys have kill me. SMH

At one point I would have agree with you regarding the mentoring aspect, but no longer. We don't need Fitz coming back mentoring our young QBs on how to hold out for more money that they aren't worth. Eff Fitz. I don't wish injuries on anyone, but I'm getting very close to the point of wishing Fitz would suffer a major injury so it wouldn't even be possible for him to come back to the Jets.

I'm not taking it personally. He's done nothing to me, but he's making things difficult for the team I love, and I don't like anyone who does that. He's also just being a greedy jerk, and I despise greedy jerks. It would be one thing if he actually had the same talent level or the youth and potential of the other QBs who are making that kind of money, but he doesn't.
Fitz looks fine. I get if you don't want him back, but don't jump on every little thing without even knowing if it's true or means anything.
Fitz isn't holding out as he is not under contract. Don't hate a guy because he thinks he is worth more than an offer he received from the Jets. Sure its an above market offer but this is probably his last chance at a big pay day. I don't blame the dude for trying to get more, I just don't want this dragging on during camp and causing more unneeded distractions. That's on Macc, not Fitz.
Still- wishing injury seems pretty extreme but I gotcha And you're right but that's Fitz's choice to hold out for one last payday It's up to Macc and the Jets to officially move on at this point....it's only difficult because we haven't moved on
I wasn't saying he got fat, I was just saying I hadn't considered the possibility that he hasn't been working out seriously enough this offseason without the structure of a team. I wonder how often/with whom he's even been throwing. I'm sure a professional quarterback is responsible enough to train on his own, but you never know.

Long term is Hack and Petty and they cant step up yet Presently we have no real assets at QB arguably the most important position in a QB driven league Compare QB, RF GS BP CH with the DL where you have quality younger players like MO Richardson and LWilliams its a mismatch
