Husker, how can you be 100% certain that GMOs pose no risks to human health when the time frames of studies are too short to determine the effects of exposure over a lifetime? On top of that, testing here in the U.S. to evaluate the safety of GMOs is a joke because the Food and Drug Administration doesn’t require any safety assessment of genetically engineered crops. Instead, it invites companies to provide data for a voluntary safety review--good luck with that. At the very least, have GMOs labeled as such which has been the case in Europe for nearly 20 years. And fwiw, premininary studies on animals (commonly used to asssess human health risks) suggest GMOs might cause damage to the immune system, liver and kidneys.

 

Of course there are risks. You're better than this though.
