As much as Gase doesnt like Bell, I think you have to keep a guy like that as he has been nothing but a class act since he came here. You should reward (or at least not trade or release) those people. Unless his production drops to 2 yards a carry or some team wants to give us a 2nd rounder or better in a trade, why not just keep him for another 2 years to help Sam grow?

I feel a bit bad for slagging Gore, a man we would all love to be, out there doing what he loves, no bag securing tosser, willing to grind out 2 yards at will. But yes, Perine is somebody else we are probably in the process of ruining. If he is not good enough to warrant 8 or 9 carries in a game then JD's drafting prowess takes another hit, either that or Gase really just is the ultimate wanker of a coach, if you don't know my system fully, then no game time for you young man.
I respect Gore for playing this long and the effort he gives, but he's a 37 year old RB. The decline was coming sooner or later. We really need Perine to be more involved and see what he's got. And Bell looked better yesterday than he has at any other point in his Jets career. If that's not a fluke, then he shouldn't lose carries to Gore.
Giving carries to Frank Gore is the Adam Gase way, it’s one of his guys. Bell should be getting 25 touches a game.
Before I blame Douglas for drafting Perrine, I'm pointing the finger at the "genius" who still can't figure out how to best use someone like Bell, or even tap the potential of a talent like Darnold. It continues to blow my fucking mind that the Johnsons are so clueless that they continue to hang onto this "genius".

Honestly Bell isn't the issue. Gase is garbage. I'm not fond of Bell but he can be blame for the Gase offense. We knew coming into the season Gase wouldn't use Bell correctly. Half if use were saying we need better weapons on the outside. Those weapons and good coaching would free up Bell to do what he does. Until Gase is gone and we have legit wr1 and a decent wr2 this offense is doomed.
