Just think.. .in 5 or 10 more years the HC hopefully have the nuances of being in charge learned. Not rushing things at all.. Between now and then? Embrace the suck.
That was definitely outstanding throw! Best I have seen in any games this year. So there is hope. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The dolphins defense has been playing lights out the last few weeks. They are blitzing from everywhere and eliminating anything short. The perfect defense against White, it is also a hard defense that they have been playing the last few weeks for a rookie qb to figure out. The dolphins are weird as they played a totally different d the first 7 games of the season , and have now gone back to the type of d they played last year and it has seemed to work for them. They have 2 really good rookies on defense in a safety Holland and Phillips at DE. Flacco gives us the best chance to win, and with our o-line it will probably be Flaccos last NFL start
Saleh is showing me that he's a Greek bitch marching flacco out there Sunday. It's funny when I typed flacco it auto corrected to flaccid. That's what I think of when I think of old man flacco, A limp flaccid dick!
Jesus Christ this is a straight up pussy move. I don't know if Zach is 100% or not, if not, it should be the Mike White show for one more week. There's nothing to gain by starting Flacco for one game except to make the transition back to Zach smoother without having to deal with the locker room and press should White have a decent game. Nip any "QB controversy" in the bud by not starting either. Pussy move.
I guess they had to do this in order to justify that absolutely idiotic decision to trade a draft asset for Flacco. Either way, the powers that be look, at best, incompetent. In actual game action, both of Wilson's backups (White and Johnson) have looked quite good at times. Either of them are more deserving of this start than Flacco. This is a move by a coaching staff and, perhaps, a GM who is starting to feel the pressure and realize that they need to do something to spark things or they might not return next season. The fact that they're starting Flacco represents the desperation for a spark, because you'd have to be desperate if you're turning to Flacco, a guy you didn't value enough to sign in the offseason and then only acquired when you panicked because you realized your QB plan was beyond dumb.
If it Flacco it's boring... and whoever said we need to justify the acquisition of him is correct That said he's going to have a record day!?? Who the hell knows? There's no predicting anything with Jests
This was a good move by Saleh. If Zach is not 100% ready, it's better to wait an extra week. White was an option obviously, and I know a lot of people wanted White with Zach still injured, but we need to be realistic: White is in his 4th year, and has 75 QB passer rating in Zach's absence. This is not some young 22 year old rookie you want to develop as your FQB. He is not a terrible back-up, but Flacco last year under Gase had 81 rating, plus had a good preseason and last week in one possession basically did as much good as White in the entire game. While I could see the point in perhaps sacrificing some to develop your rookie potential FQB, the same just does not hold true for developing a back-up. Mike White showed he can be decent and has capability to have a good game, has good instincts, but he has major weakness in longer ball accuracy and arm talent. White is also coming off a terrible performance, and even overall his 5TD, 8 INT, 75 rating performance is nothing to write home about. Mixed bag, an OK back-up. Flacco seems like a better one, so no problem starting him, if Zach is injured.
I highly doubt Wilson is still injured, at least enough to need to sit out. I’d venture to guess if he wasn’t a rookie and this team was in the thick of a playoff race he may not have missed much time at all. Brady’s a different kind of human and all but he played with a torn MCL all season last year. Wentz trotted out there with two ankle sprains early in the year.
What does this matter though, we aren't making the playoffs this year and getting our backup of the future some experience. Well. Sounds like a no brainer. I can't get behind it. At all.
