I don't think it's coincidental at all, this information was leaked from the Bonds trial from what I understand.

No, you still have to win. The Mets use and lose so he's an honorary Met.

How can this have been leaked from that trial?

I still find it odd that there has never been anybody claim to have sold them to him, or injected him or anything else that had any shred of credibility.

"You probably know the whole story by now: A-Rod essentially was hit by shrapnel from the Bonds investigation. The feds tried to seize the records of baseball's 2003 "survey" testing, originally with the intention of learning whether the 10 players embroiled by BALCO had tested positive.'

Are you being sarcastic, or are you trying to victimize A-Rod?

Is Russell Branyan a HOFer? He's no worse than McGwire.

You really would put McGwire in the HOF based on a counting stat?

There are no players with 500 HRs not in the HOF.

McGwire can be the first. He did absolutely nothing else worthwhile. He probably had about 800 successful at-bats. 583 just happened to be home runs. (I'm exaggerating on the 800 thing, but you get my point).

Does anyone know why it took this long to come out about A-Rod? 2003 was a long time ago.

Neither, I quoted a story. I've always said A-Rod is my favorite Yankee.

Prior to the steroid thing in 03 he looked to be a lock. Same with Sosa and Palmeiro.

The only superstar that i still think is/was clean is Ryan Howard. I would be FLABBERGHASTED if i found out he used.

I always thought he was on HGH but why the hell would you take anabolic steridos

The leak came about from the Bonds trial. All the names are in evidence, it just so happens that Alex was the one that was leaked.

Don, quit trying to find some smoking gun as to why only ARods name came out. He cheated. He refuses to admit it. He is the biggest player in the game today, thats why his name was leaked from the documents. The others will undoubedly come out soon enough.

He will now never make the HOF. He will never be the same player in the eyes of many fans. He has ruined his career.

He's still a first ballot HOFer. Not all juicers are created equal. If he only did a few cycles over the years and has since stopped, in the context of everything and everyone else, I don't think it's that big a deal. Not all PEDS are created equal, and it also seems like the stuff Bonds did was far and away more advanced (and he used them more heavily) than what the norm was.

In an era where everyone was on steroids, A-Rod is the best. Not only that, his relative performance compared to anyone else from his time, makes him one of the best players EVER. Period.
