Legree was signed as a backup, he was ok for us this year and did what he was brought in to do.

I guess parcells owes a huge thanks to Coslet/Carroll/Kotite as he amde the AFC Title Game w/ mostly players from previous regimes and why is it that parcells could only reach the playoffs once yet Herm could do it 3 times w/ "Parcells' players"?

The answer is in your post. Parcells took the Jets to the AFC title game with a lot of Kotite players. Herm took a rebuilt Parcells team ready to go to a SB and got 10 wins out of them twice and 9 once.

If that team was "ready to go to a SB" Parcells never would have left, BB never would have left then Groh never would have left and considering that team was "ready to go to the SB" they had missed the playoffs the 2 previous year before Herm got there then miraculously made it in Herm's first 2 years. Oh and BP or Groh never had to deal w/a dynasty team in their division like Herm had to.

Groh and BB left for better deals with more control and less pressure. Herm had zero qualifications to be a HC and essentially won the lottery with the Jet job. He is taking over another ready to win now team, we will see what they look like in 5 years.

Please, BB was fighting for his coaching career. If he had another unsuccessful run he would have been a DC for the rest of his life so to say he passed up coaching waht yuo call a team ready to go to a SB is ridisulous. Groh is another example, he waited all his life for a shot and now had a "SB ready team" and he left? Come on, I KNOW you don't believe that.

I'll take what we have now--You can wish we still had Birdbrain Bradway and Herm--let's agree to disagree.
