Whatever, if we lose to SEA or SF we don't have the team will hope we have right now. So I'm just gonna assume we'll take those games, and if we don't we're not going anywhere anyway.

I think Denver will be a test. Even though they have looked absolutely awful at times this year, they've looked good at other times, and they can move the ball through the air, which unfortunately we haven't proven we can stop yet. If we can contain their passing game this week it will be a big step forward.

As a Jets fan it's really strange, but ever since the Pats game I've been feeling this eerie calmness about the rest of the season.

Of course, on any given Sunday... But these guys seem so mentally on the ball right now that if we do drop any of the last 5 games I think the other team is going to have to really go balls out against us to do it. I just don't see this team self-destructing like has happened so many times in the past.

My prediction: 13-3, sheeeeet, why not??? Let's have fun with this!

My opinion is that Cutler is still an inaccurate gambler and a work in progress with a little OJT mixed in as well. He completed less than half of his attempts last Sunday.

But yeah, I hear you.... "on any given Sunday." If Cutler lets it all out and goes for broke and connects, it'll keep out secondary pretty busy this week. But it's still a home game, thank God, so the crowd should get into it and ruffle Cutler.

My prediction is that if our defense does what it did last week, Cutler will be turned into Chicken Cutlet when Jenkins, Pace and Barton get in his face all day.

Very true. It's funny, most people think that the teams with the best chance of upsetting us are either the Broncos, Bills, or dolphins. But I actually could see us coming out very slowly against one of those two west coast teams and having to fight hard to eek out a win. (Don't get me wrong, I don't think we will have a letdown. I think that this team is playing with a swagger and will find a way to win both games. I just think that at least one of those games - i would guess seattle - will be really hard fought and could come right down to the wire.)

I just don't see how you can say this as a fan of today's NFL. If you know anything, it's that the talent level in the league is remarkably evenly distributed and that the difference between a 3-13 team and a 13-3 team is a LOT less than it used to be. When you say that "if we lost to SEA or SF we don't have the team will hope we have right now. So I'm just gonna assume we'll take those games, and if we don't we're not going anywhere anyway.", you are showing a tremendous lack of reflection or appreciation for the state of parity in the NFL. Couldn't Giant fans have said the exact same thing about the Cleveland game????????

23-32 is pretty shitty no doubt but travelling across country for 2 big west coast games. It won't be easy.
