Wow. Dude, I hate to say this, because you seem like a nice guy with good intentions and all, but this is just completely delusional. If you have an extensive science background and were in the top of your class, how can you possibly say this stuff. This is the opposite of science. You decided what you want to believe, and then try to work the science angle to end up with "therefore it proves that god exists" wtf?? Or just flat out make crazy-ass declarations about the miracles of Jesus Christ, citing wikipedia and the bible itself as proof it all really happened just like that! Instead, why don't you forget the science and just enjoy your faith, since you obviously get something really positive out of it. Leave the astrophysics and the history to the scientists and scholars, who are actually interested in learning about how life, the universe and everything works, without any preconceived superstitious silliness.
I am also Roman Catholic, and I'm a believer, but the comment above makes me sick to my stomach. That, or the dairy Queen I just ate, but I think it was U2.
Science blows everything you think out of the water. For you to claim you used science to prove your beliefs just shows you are not serious or open minded. Beware of false knowledge, it is more dangerous than ignorance. GBS
