I would definitely have a different opinion had Moses taken a selfie with the Burning Bush, maybe posted a Vine. _

Another example of the positive things that religion does all the time, but the mainstream media chooses to ignore, sadly... "Catholic, Muslim and Jewish students from four Manhattan schools come together to experience a traditional Passover Seder and learn about each other’s holiday traditions at an Interfaith Seder celebrated April 19 at the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) national headquarters in Manhattan...The gathering carried the themes “We Are All a Nation of Immigrants” and “Welcoming the Stranger.” http://cny.org/stories/Interfaith-Seder,13935
...and another: "Youth from around the world flocked to Rome for a special Year of Mercy event for teens, ages 13-16...The pope caught many off guard as he made an unannounced visit to the square... Celebrating Mass with the young people April 24, the pope told them true freedom is priceless and comes from making the courageous decision to do good and not from the mediocre belief that happiness can be easily obtained through worldly possessions and fashion. A person’s happiness has “has no price and cannot be bought,” the pope told them during the Mass in St. Peter’s Square. Gray clouds looming over St. Peter’s Square did little to deter an estimated 100,000 young teens and pilgrims from attending the final Mass of the jubilee celebration. In his homily, the pope encouraged the youths to carry out the “enormous responsibility” entrusted to the disciples by Jesus in the Sunday Gospel reading: “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” Love, he said, is the “only valid ‘document’ identifying us as Christians” and the only path to happiness." http://cny.org/stories/You-Cant-Download-Happiness-Pope-Tells-Teens,13929?
But did they sing Kumbaya? Because they may have really missed an opportunity to accomplish something substantial if they didn't.
I remember when I used to go on retreats with the church group. It was all about going into the woods to get high and sneaking into the girls rooms to get laid.
That's how I met the first chick I banged, at a Church weekend retreat at Ithaca College when I was in 10th grade. _
