Wayne is just a punk & should check his ego @ the door. Manning's moving the team forward & doesn't give a damn what receiver it is catching the ball. Any football fan that watches the Jets knows that: Revis >> Cromarties >>>> whoever Jets put out as 3rd DB Manning was avoiding the Jets strength & attacking their weakness in the defensive backfield. It worked & would've won the game if their defense was any good in the second half. Almost feel bad for Manning dealing w/ these clowns around him. From this game, we see his coach is a fool. Coach doesn't even need to call offensive plays & still doesn't know when to call timeouts. His defense can't stop the run even when they know it's coming (and stacking the box with 8-9 ppl). He's dealing w/ all these receiver injuries. Wayne should perhaps accept that he's not as good as he thinks he is in Manning's eyes. Any Colts fans riding Manning for this loss needs to be smacked. Without Manning, they've got 3-5 wins this season. Without Wayne, they'd still win that division. Manning would just move the ball to other receivers.
I just re-watched the game, and looked at the play where Wayne got his catch. Revis was playing deep, and the safety had him underneath. Revis wasn't covering him when he made the catch, but Revis got the hit on him, Wayne was a little slow getting up. Manning only seemed to look hard his way once to target him, and Wayne was blanketed.
