Justifying your opinion that it was a bad call because they may] have gone for two is a contingency. Because in the same way, they may have gone for two and BYU may have intercepted it and returned it for two thus the refs made the right call because they tried to save UW from that.

A terrible rule is a terrible rule but making a call by the book is exemplary officiating.

Ignoring for this instance the obvious argument of the professionalism of college amateur athletes, it is a figure of speech in that no one at any age should be excused from the rules because they are excited, nor should anyone be able to chuck the ball so high in the air you never saw it land on camera before the game is officially over. This is a lesson for all players, I think it has something to do with counting chickens that haven't hatched perhaps?

Oh, and about it being the biggest moment of his life, for someone being touted as "the next Tim Tebow," he needs to learn to play cool and play calm.

So it was a 20 yard kick before hand. That's what he was implying.

This is a fruitless argument. I could give you 10 reasons why it is inappropriate and you could give me 10 reasons why it is perfectly legit. It is 100% opinion and it is obvious people, including you and me, are going to differ. However, the main point is he can't throw it because it is directly cited in the rules as being a foul.

The Pac-10 today backed up the call. I still think it's complete bull.
