Ok, just watched it and took notes. Tried to be as objective as possible. Here is what I saw:

13:38 Denver O off sides, could have been a holding call too.

    Ellis held on Moreno fumble

12:01 Keller gets hit 10 yards out on Sanchez sack

11:23 Scott gets unsportmanlike for a bump and run right at the whistle for a Denver off sides. Bad call, it was right at the whistle. The WR came right up to Scott... and Scott bumped him

9:42 Cotchery gets illegal contact, D interference, no call, INT

5:38 BE pushes off, should have gotten an OPI, no call, on a 2 yard catch.

1:52 Keller gets interfered with by Nate Jones, no call, pass completed anyway to Keller.

    2nd Q

11:11 DeVito gets held on Tebow TD run, no call

10:32 Coleman gets called for D holding TOTALLY bogus, phantom call. Royal stumbled, and they flagged Coleman. Incidental hand contact

9:13 Blatant illegal hands to the face by Vickerson on D'Brick. Pass completed to BE

7:13 Holy shit was this bullshit. O PI on Keller. Thsi was the beginning of the really bad calls, totally bogus BS

6:18... same drive, and ANOTHER invisable O PI call, this time on Holmes. Champ Bailey owns these refs now.

0:10 Revis guilty of an arm bar in the EZ which should have been called PI. With only 2 seconds left, Prater gets the FG anyway. Terrible non call. With only 2 seconds left, Denver would have taken the FG anyway to go up 10-7

    2nd half

Running play, J Taylor gets held by the NECK, no call, JT complains

14:59 PI called on Cro, completely incompetant call. This one is very hard to explain, it never happened, but it was called, Lloyd intended rec

11:55 Ellis is held with an arm all the way around his waist and pulled down. Would likely have been a sack. 3rd down comp to Lloyd for a 1st down

7:52 #98 takes a haymaker at Greene while he's on the ground after the whistle. No flag.

4:00 O PI on Graham, declined. Had to throw a flag on this one. 4th down

1:38 J Taylor held by the NECK, no call. Pass goes to the sideline, Leonard gets the BOGUS helmet to helmet call. WR does not control the ball out of bounds, challenged, not over turned. WTF?

1:23 The Thomas non TD touchdown catch. Only one foot in.

    4th Q

10:11 Keller gets HIT with the ball in the air on a completion to Holmes. No call.

8:43 Conner gets pushed to the ground from behind as the pass is in the air. DJ Williams should have gotten the easy PI call here. The refs are now officially blind, legally blind.

    7;13 False start on DEN

4:00 Pool on a blitz gets BEAR HUGGED. Two arms wrapped around his waist. No call. Could have been a sack. Prater makes 48 yard FG

DVR kicks off with 2 minutes to play. No doubt about the PI and face mask. laughing at the Pats troll who thinks it was a gift. That ball gets caught if there is no face mask.

it is difficult to see holding with TV angles. I posted the ones I was sure of.

    Calls TOTALLY favored the Broncos.

You cannot call PI on a guy's hand brushing a jersey and then not call a facemask. When it happened is IRRELEVANT.

I just listened to the Rex Ryan conference call. Not one question from the reporters about the officiating. I barely saw any mention of it in the NY papers. Terrible....just terrible.

    U know why?
Because the controversial ending result is news. The media is portraying this as a gift win w/ a "Bad Call" and everyone is eating it up.

If they went ahead and asked/questioned the officiating it would justify the "bad call" and they'd be out of a story.

All the talk right now is of the PI call, none is about the refs in the game, except amongst JETS & BRONCOS fans.

    You missed one:
6:16 - 2nd & 11. Orton throws it up, Revis on Thomas. Revis shadows him and turns around to play the ball in the air to which Thomas CLEARLY pushes Revis in the back w/his left hand to create space and proceeds to jump behind Revis ....NO CALL for Off.-PI

Next play, Orton runs for 13 yds and a 1st down.

At least you can see how in that video how the ref messed up the TD call. The guy is staring at the ground looking at the WRs feet and doesn't even look to see if he caught or is bobbling the ball. At least that call is just good old fashioned incompetence.

It does seem odd that they would highlight the play though since it's extremely obvious from all of the replays that it is not in fact a catch.

    ^^^^this^^^^

For the most part, the majority of the penalties in the Balt game were legit.

Yesterday there were so many bad and/or missed calls it was sickening. I can not for the life of me remember a worse officiated game.

I have not gone through the game but I saw 4-5 holding penalties that were not called. Let me be clear, by holding I mean grabbing the guy and basically pulling him down to prevent him from tackling or sacking the QB. Denvers Oline was sodomizing Ellis, Pouha and Devito AINEC.

I completely forgot about those, the call on Coleman was horseshit. The sound was down on on the Scott play but I was trying to figure out what the hell was going on.

Yeah, the call on Coleman was probably as bad as the ones on Cro and Leonhard.

The Scott penalty was wierd to say the least. Scott was well within 5 yards of the LoS. Maybe 3 yards tops. The whistle blows at the snap, the WR blows off the line and Scott stands him up. Scott never even moved his feet. It wasn't viscious in the least, a typical bump and run.

By my count, Denver got 2 bad non calls. That was it. The Revis arm bar almost should not count, with only 2 seconds left on the clock, Denver would have taken the FG anyway for a 3 point halftime lead. Prater made the FG anyway.

It was so one sided I still can't believe it. I'd love to see the grading report on this crew... oh to bve a fly on the wall for that one...

I hate when we have to discuss the refs for more than a minute, it means they did a crappy job for both teams.

If the refs were bad for both teams, there would not be this discussion. They weren't. They were completely one sided in calls and non calls. If not for the refs, I believe the Jets would have won by 10+.

Leaving the stadium on Sunday and hearing the bitching about the Holmes PI call, even though it was correct. i could understand their frustration. When bad calls are made all day long and none of them go against you, your subconscious gets the better of you when in fact the correct call goes against you.

Bad officiating is bad officiating. No matter who it's called against.

I'm just glad the Jets overcame. It would have made a long drive home even longer for me!

You know what? We backed into the postseason. We beat Miami because of Henning's bad play calls. We got gifted the win against Denver because of a bad call. WHAT-FUCKING-EVER. I like them all hating on us and I'll bet Rex does as well, it's us against the world and that siege mentality brings out the best in winners.

You forgot Shayne Graham missed 3 FGs in and Nate Keading missed a shit load as well in the playoffs or we wouldn't have been in the AFC title game.

There's an excuse for why we were lucky to win every game if you're the kind of whiny Dolphin fan who wants to do so. Meantime, the more talented we get the luckier we get. Funny, that.

I sent an e-mail to Manish Mehta suggesting he write an article about the officiating in this game (it is a bye week....what else is there to write about). I sent him a link to this thread.
