Maybe when the Pats are up. Against the Jets my experience has generally been that the whistle gets blown. I am loving the irony of Pats fans complaining about a call that had never been made before happening in a very important and defining situation. I had never even heard of the tuck rule until Brady got the call in 2001. At the time I just didn't care all that much because I hated the opponent more than I hated the Pats. I do remember thinking that the call doesn't happen anywhere else for anybody else though.
She wasn't a fan than. Another new England band wagoner. Haha die hard new England fans  that's funny.
If you watch the replay of FG, the flag goes up immediately. The refs were definitely looking for it. Also from Bill's postgame speech, it seemed Bill didn't know the rule fully. He thought you could push from the second level.
Patriots fans, do us a favor and choke on it. We've had to live with your bullshit entitled existence since 2003. You had your chance to win the game more than once and you couldn't get it done. Like I said 4 weeks ago, you are no longer the gods of this division, you are mortal and we beat you.
It is really funny how you guys are getting the view of everyone who has fell victim to the Patriots priviledges over the years. Ad this call was actually legit and a rule. I can't imagine if our Oline was actually permitted to hold or if no one was allowed to tackle our qb. Truth is,most NFL fans want to see Brady smashed and your team crash and burn, and the wheels fall off the NE bandwagon.
Pats fans, stop acting like a bunch of bitches. You have benefited from many calls going your way time and time again. Your team broke the rules and got called on it. Grow a fucking sack and take the loss like a man. Geezus fucking Christ.
Tony Dungy on NBC said it was a legit call and a new rule (this year) the players asked to be put in. Rodney Harrison an opinionated guy and a tough cookie on and off the field didn't comment. But it was the first time this penalty was called this season and there have been over 400 FGA's or point after attempts. The NEP player called for the penalty manned up and took complete blame. As for Belichick he was barely audible when interviewed after the game but seemed to indicate he thought his player did not break the rule. Rex said he was glad a call finally went his way. But you could tell he thought it was a BS type of penalty. That's what I think with the game on the line. If it had broken the other way all of us would be crying about it. btw after the Jets were called for something like the first seven penalties or so in the first half it swung around the other way. The Patriots were called for 7-100 and the Jets for 9-45.
Rodney Harrison did say that Logan Ryan on his pick 6 was a disgrace with his celebratory grab your crotch and dive into the endzone celebration
What are you even talking about? Half of the Jet fans here are saying it was a BS call? Again congratulations! I had a great sports weekend dude! We don't win them all here in title town ...lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
this is so true. i'm thrilled we won but if the shoe was on the other foot i would have broken my remote
Title town is in GB. I'm a Sox fan, so yeah, it was a GREAT weekend for me!!! It wasn't a BS call when it broke the RULE
It was NOT a bs call. A BS rule? Maybe so,but not a bs c all if it is infact,a rule. Get the fucking chowder out of your brain
Half of holding calls are those having no effect effect on the play and they're still called. It was just very unfortunate for the Pats.
