The Yankees only need 12 more defense out to take this game!

Now it's down to 11 more defensive outs

I agree... The Moooosssseeee has pitched a great game today, Boston has also made some mistakes on the bases to help the Yanks out

Wow, this rookie Gardner can really swing the bat. He looks like a natural @ the plate. Solid RBI for the rook.

    2-0 Yanks!

I wonder where the garbage @$$ Red Sox fan went? Oh yeah, that's right, I bet he knew that this Red Sox team was done about 4-5 inning ago.

Red Sox ar now down to their final 6 outs, make that 3 outs to play with, with the best closer in history lurking on the 9th.

You're a shmuck. I haven't posted because no one else is and I don't feel like responding to your transparent attempts to irritate me by pretending to be a Yankee fan. And I'm not predicting anything, but the Sox are far from scared of Rivera. They've beaten him plenty in recent years.

    Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!

    1 out, bases loaded

a D-P here would be PERFECT! Even another strike out or infield pop up could work...

That was ball 2, not strike 2.

I knew it! I just knew it! The Boston Melt Down... it was BOUNT TO HAPPEN!

Bases loaded? no outs? Down by one? And the BoSux can't even advance one runner? lol.

How can something be so funny yet so sad @ the same time? Who knows, just ask the Red Sox.

Thats why Rivera is the BEST Closer to ever play the game, Pappelbon could have NEVER done that, never.

Rivera's been so boring and automatic this season in save situations, he just wanted to keep everyone interested.

How could the Boston front office be SO STUPID? How could they EVER give Lugo this type of money? How could they EVER give Lugo a roster spot? Wow.

Even the "Devil-Rays" Knew he could never be anything, even on a garbage time at the time. That sould have spoke volumes to the Red Sox office. Dumb. And I will never understand, never.

But I am excited knowing that the Rays have the best DEFENSIVE short stop while the Red Sox are stuck with the worst overall SS in the game today. He can't hit, he can't field and he can't come through in the clutch.

It's nice to know that the Red Sox have the Rays leftovers over @ short.

Btw, I understand that the logo is red, white, and blue, but why is the hat itself a totally different shade of blue than usual? It looks so dumb.

Lugo leads all AL shortstops in OBP, and is 5th in OPS.

He definitely made it interesting, I still had confidence in him but it was shaken a bit w/ bases loaded and no out. Hopefully we get the split and start winning games more consistently to gain a little momentum before the break.
