Lets go Yankees! Put the Red Sox where they have been for over 100 years now!

The Yankees are ONLY 6 games behind Boston and it's not even the allstar break yet. I may be a Rays fan but I really fear the Yankees a lot more. If the Yanks can pull off the next two games here against the Red Sox, the lead will be down to 4 games.

The Red Sox really have a horrid bullpen with a suspect defense...

And look @ Pappelbon, lol, he's a little on the funny side, no really... On the funny side...You would NEVER see Rivera make a fool out of himself like that

Come on Yanks! Do it for BASEBALL

Alio, stop being so emotional. Gardner doesnt suck, and even if he does you cant get a great read of off 3 lousy starts from him. Jonnyd, the season isnt over, as much as I enjoy reading your posts, anything you say involving the Yankees is by far the most annoying I have read in recent past. Cut it out, your chit is getting old.

Melky sucks, I think we can all agree that however.

Now lets enjoy the game, hopefully we dont get our asses handed to us....

BTW, Moose with a K, and Gardner with a Assist from the OF. Good Start:up:

Wow... Justin Pedoria with a horrible base running mistake. Cost the Red Sox a big inning.

Way to go Moose, way to get out of that jam!

    Come on Yanks!

If you really "fear" the Yankees more than the Red Sox then why in the hell would you be rooting for the Yankees to win?

Because I will always go for a New York team over a Boston team. Plus, I would love to see the Rays 4 full games up on the Red Sox after tonight. That just gives the Rays another game on the Red Sox. Plus, the Red Sox would also be 6 back of the Rays in loses. (And thats what I look @ when I look @ standings) Loses mean more than wins.

This kid Gardner really looks like he has a solid swing. I know Damon has meant alot to this Yankees team over the years, he has always been a leader for the Red Sox (And Yankees) But still, with Gardner in the lineup: That could give this Yankees team some more young youth that can bring some more life to this team.

It could turn out for the best, you never know, but I like what I see from the kid.

Yes! Bases loaded for Giambi, a base hit here could break the game open

devilonthetownhallroof.... You heard that? Did you hear what they just said about the Rays? How come i didn't hear them talk about "Lack of experience"?

Like they said, the Rays just seem to play at a faster pace than other teams, and it's true, we close the gaps from the infield all the way to the outfield better than any other team in baseball. Crawford and Upton simply control the outfield and players like Aki and Bartlett all have blazing speed. Longoria and Carlos Pena play the two corners as good as any other players in the game today. We are also FAST on the bases. You know why? Because we have a lot of youth on this team, with a mix of veteran leaders such as Floyd and Hinske.

Back to the game... The Red Sox really better score before Rivera comes in the 9th, if not... Game over.
