are you watching it on TV or just gamecast, because strikes 2 and 3 were both waaay outside. I mean attrocious.

The second one was easily a strike, and the last one was borderline. The fact that he almost swung made it a pretty easy call. He's just awful in general. I was a big supporter of his last year due to the injuries, but it's time to fact the fact that he just sucks at baseball. Wily Mo should be getting regular at bats over him any day.

the 2nd you could argue was close to the plate, but not over it, the third was very far outside, at least 6 inches off the plate. More importantly it was about 9 inches from what was a strike the previous inning. Froemming must be getting tired, and his fat ass wants to get out of the stadium as soon as possible.

As I said, the third one was helped by the attempted swing. At this point I'm almost rooting for Crisp to fail at everything he does in hopes it gets him off the field. At least he's holding up his end of that bargain.

I want crisp to play well this year so they can trade him and make room for one of the young guys (ellsbury, murphy) but Wily mo can't play center field, he's just terrible defensively. And I'd hate to see him play right in fenway

Rivera lowers his ERA to a healthy 10.57.

Something is wrong with the Yankees.

7 batter walked, 8 batter walked, 9 batter 3 run homerun 3-2 Yankees, no Outs.

Top of the order comes up: 1,2,3 done.

Yankees lose 7-4. Jeter final run of the game with a Solo Shot.

Another tough series for the Yankees.

Lets hope this day off can help.

Nobody posted during today's game but me, ha ha.

The Yankees finished April with one save. That either ties the futility mark or is one off it. Perhaps the 1988 Orioles finished April with 1 save. This day 19 years ago they won and improved their record to 1-21.

Losing 5 of 6 to Boston, 3 of 4 to Tampa Bay?

How does Torre make it to Mid-May?

What did Joe do to lose these 2 of 3 games? The Yakees will be fine as long as George doesn't get involved and do something stupid like fiting Joe. Once Joe gets fired the floddgates open and we go back to pre-suspended george who hired and fired managers almost on an annual basis.

Well, we won a couple of titles then too. The bottom line is winning. Always has been with George.

We went from '79-'95 w/o a title and most of that had to do w/ george meddling. We were the worst team in baseball before Stick and Buck built the core of the latest dynasty. If george wasn't suspended we'd still be looking for our first title post-'78.

Stick is still around and could take over as GM again. Buck was no good anywhere he went. I have no answers for who should replace Torre long term.

Buck was good here and he also helped build Arizona into a Championship team. Buck was extremely improtant to our dynasty yars, he brought pride and discipline back to the Yankees after we had become the laughing stock of baseball.

I have wanted Girardi to be our next manger since e was playing here so wenever Joe goes I want Girardi.
