Jeter,Cano,Matsui,Posada,Damon,Wang, are soulless bastards? lol. Abreu is consistently having bad at bats and swinging half ass at crap. He has no hustle in the field at all.

Of your list, I would only include Jeter and Damon, maybe Posada as guys with heart, and Posada this year so far has been asleep.

Cano is an idiot. Matsui and Wang are just "professionals."

I can't believe this game is in the 4th inning already. Usually Sox/Yanks games go 4+ hours. Hopefully it keeps this pace up.

Posada is batting .323.. I'm not sure how that can be considered "asleep"

I can't agree entirely. I will always have a strong respect for Matsui, and a begrudging respect for Jeter, Posada, Rivera, and sometimes, Musina; Bernie, back in the day, and a small handful of other formers.

the conversation wasn't about performance as much as being vocal firey guys. The yanks just don't really have any of those guys, so getting on Abreu for not being one seems a bit hypocritical.

Have you been watching him behind the plate? A lot of the balls that are going wild this year are balls he should be getting in front of, eve with bad knees. Last night, he was caught totally asleep and allowed a stolen base with the ball in his hand.

That's asleep. It's not all about the bat.

Posada and LoDuca are both 35. Should be interesting next year when both are looking for catchers. 35 is OLD for catchers.

Cano causes me far too much stress to watch at the plate.
