Absolutely pathetic. Mussina really thinks he knows how to pitch.

I can't even watch him anymore. It's been coming to this for a long time. I'll just avoid any game he pitches in from now on.

No, but I don't care to only use his shitty outings as evidence, either. Nor do I expect Moose to pitch seven innings of one-run ball every time out. Manny has owned Moose for several years... it's not like this is surprising enough to anger me at this point. You act like you're still surprised.

Really, though, he just needs to stop pitching to Manny. Don't even waste the extra pitches walking him. Just hit him.

He is,but at the same time it's like facing a pitcher from my softball league.

    Who said I'm surprised?

The only thing I am is disgusted that Girardi is even giving him the option to throw a pitch near the plate to Manny. Moeller should be standing halfway up the first base line when Manny's at bat taking Moose's soft tosses.

Moose is washed up. His ability is good enough to beat teams like the Rays with some run support. It's not even in the same league with a Boston.

Contract year. Watch Minaya go ahead and give him a 4 year $80 million deal next year.

What, are you going to IBB him with a guy on first? You don't do that.

Well, he's a #5 pitcher. He's not supposed to beat teams like Boston very often. Temper your expectations and you won't get so upset. Really.

Boston has a pretty good lineup. (They crushed Wang last night. Is Wang washed up?)

I'm just sayin'... and I don't mean this as a defense of Moose as much as a critique of your analysis... but we all know what Moose does/doesn't bring to the table. He's an adequate #5 pitcher for now. He'll be exposed against patient lineups, especially.

I don't think you suddenly start IBBing guys with a man on first just because you don't trust your pitcher. If it gets to that point, you get rid of the pitcher.

I'd kindly ask the Yankees to wait to mount their comeback until Beckett's out of the game, for my fantasy team's sake.

I was upset that i have to leave to pick my kids up from gymnastics thinking i'd miss some of this game. WTF was i thinking? i shouldn't have turned it on to begin with, with Puss pitching. Just the site of him pitching with his stupid stretch enrages me.
