Red Dead Redemption

A million things to do...and I still spend hours at Liar's Dice.

 

I just picked up the game this weekend. It's unreal. Last night I spent about 3 hours playing Hold 'em at the ranch.

 

I FINALLY figured out how to cheat @ the poker table without getting caught and now I just knock down 5 man tables, one bust after another.

Yea the minigames are great. Liar's dice seems a little too easy, but definitely fun.

 

I think I'm going to finally give in and get this game sometime this week.

Got this game Thursday, god damn it is great.

I'm only maybe 15% in, but that's because there are so mnay freaking side things to do, it's never ever boring. I spent 2 hours last night shooting birds!! I made over a grand on feather sales.

Can't wait to get home and play some more...My PVR is almost full since I havent flipped oin the tv since I got RDD

 

I'm about to finish the story mode, but I just can't seem to get there because there's always something else to do.

This game is fun even when you're just fucking around. I ride into towns, put on my bandana, and kill everyone I can find...with the knife.

It's so much fun killing all of the sheriffs but one, then hog-tying him and slitting his throat. It's just my way of letting him know that he's not worth one of my bullets.

I also found a high building that you can climb up on in Thieves' Landing. I get up there and lasso guys off of their horses - sometimes it kills them instantly.

The best thing I've done is make the human bonfire - it's so hilarious.

Where do you find the other 3 star horses? I have the Kentucky one from Bonnie's story. I'm trying to find the all black horse and the Hungarian one too.

I also cant find the love is opiliate stranger mission. I need it for the bandido outfit. I swear Ive done all the stranger missions though.

 

I'm finally getting this tomorrow. this thread plus talking to some friends has me beyond hyped for it.

 

I've had this game since it launched, and I still haven't touched the story because the multiplayer is so much fucking fun. I love camping people who are trying to pve in the open world and listening to them cry when I kill them.

 

You have to break the horses in order to get their deeds available to buy.

wow this game was actually worth the hype!

 

I'm at Rank 8 Treasure Hunter...It's impossible to find these things with those terrible maps. Thank god for the internet.

I spent a few hours just hunting wolfs, bobcats, armadillos and birds in Mexico...$3000 in sales of pelts and meats and whatnot. Not to mention all of the people walking by or me walking into and me robbing them or helping them out. I'm sitting at just over 10K dollars with nothing to buy. I have hundreds and hundreds of bullets and all the guns.

 

Is this thing fun right from the start or does it take some playing before you get into it

And if if does take long how long did it take you guys?
