that makes no sense. having no trade value doesn't equate to not having game value for the Jets. just because another team in the NFL doesn't want to both take on his salary as well as give up a pick of value in no way means the Jets should just cut him and absorb the cap hit. there is nothing to gain from that scenario.
Looks like the Jets are fearing Santonio is out for the season. So awesome. Whats the cap hit if we cut him in the spring or whatever date makes any sort of a differnce? ANyone?
