It's too much in my opinion. Look at some of the guys who were drafted near where our 3rd round pick is. Joey Porter Steve Smith Darwin Walker Kendrick Clancy Bhawoh Jue Ben Leber Nate Burleson Kevin Curtis That's essentially what you are giving up along with Abe for the #9 pick. We are in rebuilding mode. I would much rather have as many picks as possible as opposed to getting a couple really high picks. And if you look at who would be available at the #9 - DeAngelo Williams, Vernon Davis, Jimmy Williams...I think you're giving up too much to get one of those 3 guys.
No one. NO is rebuilding and with that high 2nd rounder they are looking at a starter. Most likely an offensive lineman who will protect Leinart for the next 10 years. No way does NO trade their second round pick even if they make a deal to move to #1. Remember this, in the Eli/Rivers trade, the Giants still kept their 2nd rounder which they used to draft Chris Snee who is a future pro-bowler and might be the Giants best offensive lineman right now. NO wont do it.
It works though..lol. I rarely go into the threads that talk about trades and such. Must see. I had to see this one.
You're right about Jolley and Blaylock. They'd be worth a 3rd each. I don't want Vernon Davis. There are bigger needs that we could take care of if we did get the Ninth pick. That Abraham trade would be a good deal I think. The ninth overall pick is big. Brian Urlacher and John Henderson were both taken there...
U know I'm looking for another guy to have quoted in my sig...so when I run across something like this, I thank myself (God). But when trying to put this lenghty, nonsensical "post" in my signature...alas...it can't be more than 300 characters. I would say Goddamn it, but that would be using my name in vain.
yo lord wanna be what the hell was the point in your comment. I'm still tring to understand. By the way change the name, you disgracing god.
this is a good thread. There's nothing wrong with it the only question is how can we get lawson what can we do to get a second round pick. we have money to create a team like this. We are more than 23 mill under the cap.
Now here is something i can use. What was the point of my comment? Do you know what a sig is? You know that thing that appears at the end of all posts by a specific user? Well see alot of people when they run across a post that is stupid and doesn't make sense (uses incorrect spelling, etc) or is just funny. The first post in this thread fit that category perfectly, except it was way over 300 characters (or spaces/letters taken up by typing) so it won't fit in the sig...because the sig can't be over 300 characters long. However your latest post (the one i just quoted) fits the dumb quote category perfectly. Sorry about the confusion...but :shit: Sorry if i got u when you read this post. jtrain quote-coming soon to the Lord's sig. Check your local listings.
the lord my a--. Yo you are disgracing my team aright. so how bout you forget about this forum and hop to giants. Damn man I cant believe we have fans like this. Ha "the lord has spoken" Yo u craking me up. ha.
since when do the jets muchless any team in the nfl makes 3-4 trades in the same offseason. it just doesnt happen like that folks this aint the nba. if we make a blockbuster trade with abe i highly doubt you will see the jets make 3 more trades. maybe a up and down on draft day or the ramsey deal. but all this blaylock and hobson stuff isnt happening.
I stopped reading at trading jolley or blaylock for a 2nd round pick, are all NFL fans this clueless or just some jets fans.....this isnt a video game, that trade would never ever happened, actually maybe not even in a video game would that happen.
