Absolutely. I said to my friend, this bitch is even annoying from 50 yards away. Imagine what she's like in person. I also look forward to the punt catching contests, especially when people get booed. Some years it's all we have to look forward to.
well you must of not watched the game because one kickoff was half way in the endzone another was at the three and i cant account for the first one. 2/3 good kickoffs is a improvement
The point about Nugent is he made his kicks for points and saved his job. Which is good, because I'd hate to get into revolving kickers and holding our breath every time we need a kick. I'd rather keep a guy with some pedigree that maybe just had a bad day. Debate the kickoffs all you want, I'd trade a few yards on a kickoff for points any day of the week. If you cover the kickoff correctly you should stop the guy anyway.
Actually, nugent hit a ball to the 3, 4, one yard deep in the endzone, and one touchback. Which you are correct was from the 45...however, the hang time on it was extremely high. It is entirely possible that the Jets elected to kick a high ball with the hopes of it landing inside the five. They might have assumed they could pin them inside the 20. Regardless, the kick was clearly higher than his other hang times this year...which despite contrary belief has been good. Also, the guy "booting" the ball for New England kicked it to the 4, 4, two yards deep, one yard deep, and a touchback. Not exactly easily booting it into the endzone.
I thought it was pretty entertaining. They start at 20 yards . Get three women who can barely launch the ball off the ground five yards and then keep moving them back. Good stuff.
Chad really looks confident when throwing hte ball and making plays etc compared to the short time i saw him last year. He can throw it long but also hard and accurate when going short. Its really fun to watch him.
