I have had alot of prediction come true. People on this board just harp on the ones that were wrong.

Here are some of my 2008 Jet Predictions. 1. Jets will be pretty stout against the run but will have trouble defending the pass. 2. Jets won't have anywhere close to a top ten defense. 3. Jets will finish 9-7 4. Jets will get embarrassedin oakland by the Raiders.

True, but you continue to neither think or follow, making yourself useless.

Unless your counting the comic relief we get from reading the inane crap you post.

Someone's got to give me some props.
I called this the day after the draft.
I had a feeling that Donald Thomas G (UConn) was bargain material in the 6th round.

Coach Tony Sparano named sixth-round rookie Donald Thomas the Dolphins' starting right guard on Tuesday.
Thomas impressed right away and has played with the first team offense since the second week of camp. The Dolphins' offensive line is now set. It'll be Jake Long, Justin Smiley, Samson Satele, Thomas, and Vernon Carney.

This is the way I see it -- We get to play against Miami in week 1. Pennington is going to be lining up behind a line that has only TWO proven players on it: Satele and Smiley.

Mangini is going to throw all sorts of blitzes at Long and Thomas.

I hope Pennington makes friends with the ground before the game...

I remember Thomas from the Combine. He looked super fit and athletic for an OL. He could move really well and had good speed. I also thought he'd be a great 2nd day pick.

I do remember something bad in his bio, however. Something like being arrested for fighting or drugs or something like that. Which may have pushed him down the board.

Unfortunately, you are entitled to your opinion, but you are completely wrong in your opinion (fact). You claim Dustin Keller is undersized . . . based on what? A height/weight chart you have at home to tell you how overweight and out of shape you are? Most tight ends don't outweigh him by 10 pounds and, unlike the high majority of NFL tight ends, DK posted 4% body fat. He's without a doubt stronger than most starting TEs, yet he remains probably the fastest wearing pads. You say he can't block but, of course, you have no clue; you may have seen 2 clips where he made a mistake, but he's not a damn left tackle. And I hope this guy never stays in and blocks! DK wasn't a need position? He was the best receiver IN THE DRAFT, which is why he was the only one to go in the first round. He was the only receiver known to be a first round talent. P.S. Tom Brady wasn't a first round guy. Eric Ainge?????

^^ Oh yeah, the original argument in this thread. Well, I must say this draft class is impressing quite well so far. Its good to see the 2nd day guys do well, especially Lowery.

I think the right moves were made, and the team will be ok. They do need to be prepared at the QB position 3 years from now. Favre is the perfect buffer until that young kid is ready.
