Both Sports take some intelligence. Baseball has alot of strategy. Football is reacting, but must be able to understand the playbook. One think I will tell you....hitting a baseball pitched from a competent pitcher, is one of the most difficult feats in sports. I played Baseball thru High School and was fortunate I was able to have some success. I was able to hit curve balls and breaking pitches. Many friends couldn't hit the ball to save their lives.
theres a big difference between academic intelligence and football intelligence. and they have nothing to do with one another baseball better be cerebral, it has some of the worst athletes in all of pro sports
Totally agree, I think Cook may even go in the top 20 picks of the 2nd round but I would love to get him though getting Jones might be more of a need
