Nice detective work, but no. See, the Turner threads were debate....debate to me is fun. The Jones stuff is a whole lot of agreeing. While it's great for the franchise, I find everyone agreeing over and over and over and over and over again tedious and boring.
Then ignore the threads. See, thats the nice things about a message board... you don't have to read all the messages.
Personally, I don't get the problem about people making threads of whatever they want. The boards operates by attrition, if the thread is lame it will drop off pretty quickly. As far as master threads go, sometimes it is just eaier to see a single post then having to dig through a monster thread. I wish people would just chill about this whole thread starting thing.
Why not? It's just to remind us how good of a trade it is. If you don't like the thread, than don't come out and say it sucks, just leave it alone... That makes this board a little better.
Jones was indeed a great trade, we got a proven RB for almost nothing. Jones/Washington combo will be unstoppable. The Jets now have the best RB tandem in the AFCE.
Let this be a note to all. If I see another thread's topic get diverted due to someone debating its validity as a thread in a definitive manner, that poster will get a warning. I can no longer count on one hand how many times this has happened in the last couple of days. If you have a problem with a thread, report it. There is a button beneath every post. We'll take care of it as we see it. Hijacking a thread will not make the thread any more worthy, so quit it. If you have any questions, you can PM us.
