Well... It's not about October... As a Rays fan, this has been a magical season of baseball...It's something Special and something that I'll never forget as a sports fan. Sure...A World Series ring would be crazy but @ the same time... This season of 08 is only the start of something special...It's the start of a winning team here in Tampa Bay! This young team should only continue to get better over the years... With the young talent that we have...It's simply amazing that we won the AL East this year! A WS Ring would be amazing but no matter what happens during the playoffs, I'm proud of this team and will be excited like never before for next year. Do I believe this Rays team will win the WS? Heck yeah! Do they HAVE to win the WS? Nope...This team has already shut the doubters up and proved them wrong
I agree and believe me...This Rays team will be playing to win the whole thing but @ the same time...This Rays team of 2008 will go down as one of the best storys baseball has ever heard or seen... To finish 1st place in their divison after finishing last place in their divison the previous year... Only two national league teams has EVER done that. The Rays made history this year, and this team will only continue to get better
