Feliciano gets the DP, but how many times is Manuel going to send out Parnell before he realizes that he's pitching poorly? In his last 7 appearances he's pitched 4 innings, and has an ERA of 13.50 and a WHIP of 3.00.
Yet another uninspired (and uninspiring) performance from the Mets, and I've never seen a .350 hitter look as bad as often as Wright has this year.
Probably because he hasn't been hitting well all year long. His overall line looks decent because of that .350 average but he's got something ridiculous like a .500 BABIP so far which obviously isn't sustainable. I thought it couldn't get any worse than when the Mets were blowing games day in and day out but this years team is just so awful and boring that I can't even bring myself to care whether or not they win or lose.
.468, but the point is well taken. Phils blow yet another game at home thanks to bad relief pitching, so the Mets stay 2 games behind, if anyone cares.
Mets score on a wild pitch, and the home plate umpire (Jerry Crawford) suddenly has to leave the game for reasons unknown. There will only be three umpires now.
Manuel must be fired immediately. He is the biggest moron in history. Anyone with a brain can see that Parnell has been awful for weeks, yet he keeps putting him out in important spots. Beyond belief.
that's about as pathetic a performance as you'll ever see. maybe that one will get through to manuel.
