And don't forget the Jets beat Pittsburgh this year. That should put some context into the Ravens win yesterday.
It's quite possible they will pull off an upset, especially since I think NE has been sputtering offensively the last few weeks, but I don't think they are as near good as the team that beat NE in 2012. Still it should be a spirited game due to the recent history.
One of the weaker Ravens teams the Pats are facing and one of the stronger defensive Pats teams the Ravens are facing in recent memory. On paper, the Pats passing offense should nullify the Ravens front 7 and turn in a 30+ point effort. But Ravens/Patriots games are always unpredictable and I think all they're playoff matchups in recent years have been in NE, so nothing new there either.
Yup, on paper this is the most lopsided matchup between the two teams recently but like I said earlier, if there is any AFC team left that knows they can go into New England and win a game its definitely Baltimore. Both Luck and Manning will be huge Baltimore fans on Saturday, players can say you don't play scared as many times as they want but neither of them want to travel to NE where BAL is probably happy the game is being played there.
Skip Bayless @RealSkipBayless ยท 16m16 minutes ago Now the Cowboys play their first playoff game at Green Bay since the Dec. 31, 1967 Ice Bowl, from which I still haven't recovered.
Ive been saying the same thing, best New England team since 2007, but in my humble opinion, this is it. This is New England last real shot to win the Super Bowl, (im not saying they will start losing but they wont be able to go the distance ever again). So hopefully Saturday we get a gift, and the Ravens knock them out, and I can officially declare Bradys chances at winning a 4th Super Bowl dead forever. It would certainly be nice, because it would shatter that organization from top to bottom, because this is their year, they knows its their year, they know its now or never.
Im not declaring them"dead", but what I mean is they wont win the whole thing. I think they have a good shot at winning the whole thing this year, the last two seasons I thought they had no chance and I was right both times. I thought after 2011 they had one more Super Bowl appearance in em, and after last offseason I stated they would go to the Super Bowl, and that this was the window they had. So in my opinion if they do not get back to the Super Bowl this season, I dont think they ever will under Brady/Belichick.
Without your endorsement, I'm not sure there is a reason to even play the games next season. Possibly just start taking for 2020?
If you dont do it tommorow you never will. I was right in 2009 I was right in 2010 I was right in 2011 I was right 2012 I was right in 2013 We will find out tomorrow if I am right again.
And Pats fan, ill say this, if you win tomorrow, you will win next week. I have zero faith in the Broncos, and that Indy team has zero chance....it would be a replay of last years game.
How much money should I bet? Do you bet? You should. You're never wrong, I really hope you're not still working, that'd be a silly waste of your talents.
My prediction was that the Pats wouldn't win the super bowl this year, so if they get eliminated I will be right again, for like the 10th straight year.
that's not really going out on a limb, it's hard to win a SB but nearly every year they are in the hunt.
