Yes, Faulk was a great player... and one who has anything but an objective opinion when it comes to the topic. Maybe you guys could set up a spa day together. Mani, pedi, vaginal de-sandings, the whole works.
You, I, we all wish the allegations carried no merit, but they do. New England is the only fraud champion*. Just a tough truth you have to accept as a fan. Suck on the hard truth, taste it, enjoy it dog; fully embrace the fraudulence of your favorite football franchise.
Thanks for laying it out straight for me like that, Lieutenant. It's exactly what I needed. A little "tough love." Maybe we can break into the Pats' Hall and piss on the Lombardis. I'll put them on the ground for you so that you can properly squat over them.
No problem Private. Never dare, respect the Lombardis* not the team. Those 3 trophies* serve as great remembrance for the one stain on a history of NFL Championship excellence. The trophies are sacred in the their own right, or wrong.
Poor private, Lacking honor and order like your team. Not enough discipline up there in New England, truly sad.
No, but most of you are full of shit with the self-cannonization "Patriot Way" b.s. Remember this pretentious asshole? "You can't wear a Hernandez (jersey) around here. He disrespected the Patriots way, Robert Kraft, Myra Kraft. You can't disrespect her!"
There are fans of every NFL team who are a-holes man. Don't know what to tell you. I can't be responsible for the behavior of an entire region of people. A lot of NE fans take it way too far and end up being obnoxious and pretentious about the team. I actually agree with you on that. I was listening to sports talk on the way home yesterday... a couple of callers were actually suggesting that Belichick held back in the GB game because he thinks they may end up playing the Packers again if they reach the Super Bowl. It's embarrassing. I'm a 42-year-old guy who has lived in NE my whole life, and rooted for the local teams (good or bad) since I was a kid. It's not like I randomly selected the Patriots as my favorite team. And for me, it's just sports... I don't tie my sense of self-worth to it. After 30 or so years of utter irrelevance, I've enjoyed the current run that New England is on, and the success they've had. I've just been having fun in this thread with one of this board's most chronic cranks. But I'd buy a round if I could. It's all in good fun.
There's no shame in talking about it. It happened brother, embrace it. It's more pathetic and embarrassing to act like it didn't.
It is lame to bring it up as if that is the difference between the Pats success and our failures. Plus it wasn't that big of a deal IMO. They have proven since then that the reason they are winning football games is because they play better football, not "cheating". Bringing it up to their fans comes off as whiny, especially when you are using it to make yourself feel better or discredit their SB wins
IMO there is a pretty good argument that cheating continues up north in New England. IMO it was a big enough deal to help give advantage to New England. Ultimately, they were punished for it, so can't really act like there was nothing there. I don't really give a fuck what you think anyway as I'm pretty sure you don't care about what I think . Fact of the matter is there legacy is tainted and it will follow their organization forever. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, thanks for chiming in.
Lol to each their own. Idt anyone except for disgruntled AFC east fans and Marshall Faulk really believe their legacy is tainted.
Were the Patriots caught cheating against the Dolphins? Because they were against the Jets. That is the ENTIRE reason Spygate happened. The fuck are you talking about with "fans of other AFC East teams"? You find it embarrassing that fans of the team that they were proven cheating against and punished heavily for it still hold it against them? I find it embarrassing that you have such a strong opinion about it.
