My point was I don't believe it. 4.28 at his age when he's been battered the past few years tells me it was likely wind-aided and/or on a fast track. Moss also shies away from contact big time now. He's simply not going to be the deadly player he once was. Stallworth and Welker scare me more.

Agreed Cakes .. the Jets are dooooomed! DOOOOOOMED! How have we been so blind?

Remember that if we don't kiss the ground the Pats walk on (like our boy Don - damn the Jets are lucky to have fans like him) - then we don't care about the Jets & don't care about how much they win. Damn I feel lucky Don was here to set us straight. I hear that he is so intelligent the Jets have asked that he advise the FO from now on.

Even wind aided would be fine. It's only 40 yards, not a 440. I just don't think he has slowed down.

Indeed, it's steamed plenty of unnecessary arguments this weekend...

So what? Even when healthy, what the hell has he done to show this in the past two years? If he's going to magically become the Moss of old, we should also be saying Wadsworth is going to be our 12 sack pass rusher this year, just because injuries and not playing much for a while mean anything. That's the kind of logic you have.

Well lets see, the Pats took 2 of 3 from us last year, and have made moves to reload there team via trades, signings, and the draft.

We brought in a good RB and a crap load of has-beens and never were's on the DL, and mortgaged our draft for 2 guys.

There's no way to tell how all these moves will work out until we take the field next year, but as of now I woulden't be shocked to see us looking up at the top of the division yet again. I really, really hope Revis and Harris pan out, not just for the sake of Jets fans but for Tangini as well.

As I just said, you stir up too much trouble when this is simply a fan's message board, there's a reason the people in charge have tried their best to make this place better as with recent years we get plenty of people like you, unfortunately you do keep things fairly "intelligent", but that doesn't make it right to treat everyone as you do.

If I thought you were right I would be the first to admit it. I have no problems with the vast majority of people on this forum. Just a few that like to get into the name calling game. I respond in kind to them.

Moss is Nice but we have a Guy who can match up VERY Well...

    ...... his name?

    Justin Miller.

    Now before you Scoff remember,
Miller has speed to stay with him,
He is also Physical so I would NOT be surprised to see Miller directly across from him while Revis and Dyson are on Stallworth & Welker....

    Mark my Words..

He ran those times a week ago. That's what was reported. Somebody said the Patriots themselves reported a 4.28 although I haven't seen that. If he had injuries, they must have healed.

I like that idea. You know Miller would get into it with Moss.

That idea sounds nice right here, but if Miller were any good, we wouldn't be trading up to get Revis... Miller sucks. Yeah, he's young, but he's got a long way to go coverage-wise.

No, I'm not happy with this at all, but I don't think anyone has seen Moss play the last 2 years. He was good early 2 years ago, then sucked for the last year and a half. Two teams have already given up on him. Can winning change everything? We'll see. I'm worried, but I'm not panicking.

Sad thing about Miller is ... he has all the tools - speed, agility, acceleration - jumping & size. If he could wrap his brain around how to play defense - well the sky would be the limit. One of the best in the league IMO. Of course we have yet to see him show he can figure it out.
