I knew as i logged in today i would see a post such as this one...Can we stop joking around and get an offensive line so we can have a qb who is able to throw the ball.

Lmao what? Have you ever watched him outside of a game where Revis was covering him?

I would have to see him hold a public workout before I give my opinion on the Randy Moss situation because I don't know if he was working out with a trainer and is even close to NFL shape. The problem that I always had with Randy Moss was his route running, he never liked to run across the middle routes and was lazy with his routes when he wasn't the number 1 target on the play. His hands are undeniable though and if he still has some of his speed I wouldn't mind giving him a vet min contract with incentive bonuses. I'm sure he has matured a bit since age does that to most people so I can't really see him being TOO much of an off the field distraction but I'm leaning right now towards passing on him we need some young talent at the WR position that we can develop for years to come and not some short term solution.

umm yes...dont forget he's been out of football, we don't know how good of a shape he's in, last time he played he gave up on teams...again we shouldn't get a wr that's only gonna be used only for RZ

Randy Moss was probably the best vertical threat WR in the history of the NFL. Randy is there to take the top off the defense. heh. Whoever signs him should have him running 9 routes the majority of the time he's on the field. They also better have a QB that's going to feed him and a strong veteran locker room to keep him in check.

I don't want Moss anywhere near the Jets but saying he would just be a red zone threat is crazy.

Randy was a malcontent with on of the best QB's to ever play, just imagine him with a garbage QB who won't find him when he's open, and will miss with the pass whenever he gets lucky and does.

Let's keep any and all additional locker room poisons and/or cancers away at all costs.

You forgot bringing back Burress. Moss and Burress at SE and flanker, with Ocho and ToneTime in the slots. Nobody needs a running game with that kind of arsenal.

We could see the first quadruple reverse.

It was a joke, I was not being serious haha. I don't want Moss anywhere near the Jets, that'd make our #1 and #2 both unbearable malcontents.

I was thinking -- and I know it sounds crazy -- Let's not hire a receiver who's not in his mid 30's.

It's not the offseason without a Randy Moss to the Jets rumor.
