Geez...Sanchez throws for 370 yards and two TDs and all anyone can talk about is one pick. Yeah, it was a bonehead play. Get over it. ALL QBs make mistakes from time to time. Even the great ones.
There were some good things and bad things about yesterdays game Good 1.Wilson played well looks much better this year 2.LT looks great cutting sharp and will be a strong recieving threat this year 3.Mason made some nice catches and hopefully he can start getting comfortable 4.Sanchez looked good for most part. Forced throw on int and had a couple errant throws but shined esp in hurry up. Bad 1. Defensive line looked alot like last year failing to generate any pass rush 2. We fail to adjust in game offensivly. 3. Offensive line was iffy at times however alot of that was defense identifying play early and attacking it. When we kept them honest (tosses, screens) they held up fine 4.Cromartie im glad we resigned him and half those calls against him were wow calls he needs to calm himself down and make the simple play sometimes. I think hes trying to hard and getting himself out of place Overall we were outcoached and outplayed yesterday but we do have good things we can take from it. I would love to see us mix it up more offensively throw a streak here and there even if you dont complete it make the defense back off. On defense we have to generate pressure and keep containment
Mark had the ball for 6 seconds, and THEN threw the ball across his body, he made a mistake. However, No OC that likes to go outside the numbers and down the field too often, is going to mesh with ANY QB. But...BS has been better about getting the ball out quickly this season. It's a new skill for him and you cant expect him to grasp it's potential in 3 weeks.
I think it's crazy to think that the Jets will just roll over the Bills or Dolphins at this point. The Bills are improved and I'm sure the Dolphins will get up for the Jets because they have confidence they can beat Gang Green. There's plenty of season left, but right now I'm not liking what I'm seeing. I think the Ravens game will give a better barometer where there team is and where it will go.
