Ramsey is the classic 'needs a change of scenery' type of player. With proper coaching this kid has all the tools to get it done.
IMO Gibbs just never liked Ramsey. Plain and simple. That's why he was hell bent on bringing in Brunell. I can't confirm that because I was never in the locker room with them, but to me it just seemed obvious. I don't think Gibbs gave Ramsey a legit shot. He's 27 years old. He's been around for a little while. There will be no "NFL learning curve". I think if given the right opportunity, he will flourish.
The deadskins are bluffing they are going to cut him, and as a jet ramsey would be better than in burgundy.
Wrong...gibbs is a coach form the past this is the present..present players need diffrent type of coaching. Gibbs was lucky he made the playoffs. If he was in the AFC he would of been drafting real high.
If we can get Ramsey for a second day draft pick, it would be a bargain. I've seen enough of him to believe hes got alot of potential, and always have thought he was a better player than Brunnell.
I think joe gibbs knows what he's talking about. He won 3 superbowls with 3 different QB's. He knows QB's pretty well.
I wouldn't trade for him. I wouldn't mind him being on the team though. Either the Skins will release him(most likely in my opinion) or another team will give up a draft pick for him even though the Free Agency class of QB's, while not elite, is quite thick with decent players. We'll be able to get someone good for no draft pick.
I see just by bring in sorry ass Ramsey this FO and HC don't know what their doing. FELLOW JET FANS WE ARE IN TROUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never been a fan of him. I think there's better back up QB's out there. Personally I'd like to get Maddox here.
If we give up anything more than a 6th rounder, next year, for this turd, someone, please hit me with a 2x4... Ellis
