I just wanted to let you guys know alot of people thought Clemens was the best QB in the draft. Even Jaws said he was the steal of the draft.

By "even Jaws" I think you mean "only Jaws" :)

People think of Ramsey as a short term QB but in reality he's only 26, and he did have a much more successful college career than any other QB on our roster. He never got a chance in Washington and maybe it did stunt his development permanently.

One way or another we're about to find out.

 I know, I just told a very poor joke making light of the fact that Kellen Clemens went overnight from middle of the pack prospect to better than Tom Brady on this site.

You can say 100%, because Hodge did too. He and Jaws went on and on for about 10 minutes about how good Clemmens is. They both agreed that Clemmens was the best QB in the draft, and only the fact that he was injured from October through the rest of the season dropped him out of the top QB selected position.

If anyone recalls, the Jets actually managed to pull a fast one on the whole league with Clemmens. They had been eyeing him, but kept it under wraps. Then on their country-wide tour to visits the big-3 (Leinart, Young, Cutler) they made a "quick stop" to try out Clemmens. As soon as they did that, suddenly something like 10 teams scheduled quick trips to check him out.

Then in the draft they pulled that whole double-switch move, trading way down, then back up to get Clemmens. Win-win in my book (though I admit freaking out at the time.)

I'm not a Ramsey fan, but I don't care who starts for this team, as long as they win. As Jets fans, we should be used to QB sucking it up, so what's the big deal? As long as we come out on top in February one of these years, it could be Shaun Ellis throwing passes, and I couldn't give a damn.

I agree with you, unless he gets injured in preseason, a real possibility given his ginger condition and a chief reason for bringing in Ramsey, a veteran presence who most of the league has given up on as any kind of starter. You can't put a rookie like Clemons in that spot, and Bollinger's ability to throw TDs is unproven (though he excites me most of the four).

I would hate to see someone imposing an age limit on this board, over or under.

Santana Moss doesn't suck. He just has a very questionable heart, which I'm going to remind all of you of on ExtremeSkins once he quits on you.

Grin and bear it, fella. You will be a troll on this board until you rain praises on the Jets. Even if you are a fan of another(Titans) team. Just give your oppinion and don't trash talk our team and in time you will be welcome.
