totally agree. if Pennington stays this year, chances are they're not rushing his return. So between Bollinger and Ramsey, I'd give Ramsey the nod mainly because he has a better arm. I think Bollinger is a better decision-maker, but with Ramsey having a somewhat stable starting job (owing to Pennington's injury), he won't feel any breath down his back, and hopefully, he'll play naturally with more confidence. So yeah, for a R6 pick, fix the OL and let Ramsey and Bollinger compete, with Ramsey likely winning that battle. cheers
Only way would would get Ramsey is if Chad is cut. Bollinger can be a good #3, maybe a #2 and with Chad gone we would draft a QB to be #1, so Ramsey could come in and compete for the #2.
Gibbs wants him out. All he does is complain and Gibbs wants Cambell to be the starter. And from what Clayton has said the Jets are the only ones with any real interest.
I simply do not believe the Redskins will let him go for a #6. Besides, the entire issue is that he wants to be a number #1 QB. What happens if the Jets get him and relegate him to #2? More problems.
I'd believe this. The Redskins are looking to get under the cap, and it's been speculated that they may even cut Ramsey. I doubt that they'd go that far, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them trade him for virtually nothing. I'd give them as high as a 4th rounder for Ramsey.
I think Ramsey for a 6th is a great deal. He was the one back up quarterback that looked good this year, even won a game, other than Brad Johson........Looks like the Bills are more interested anyway The Washington Redskins are trying to trade quarterback Patrick Ramsey. He might be worth a fourth-round pick if the Bills are interested and that's all it would take. -- Democrat and Chronicle
for a 6th , of course, who gives a shit. hes gonna get killed and so is anyone else back there. its for a year, we aint doing anything for a while guys, did you forget who our team was?
The only reason Gibbs likes Brunell over Ramsey is experice. Now with that said Ramsey still isn't the QB we need.
I would do it for a 6th rounder. I don't know too much about the kid, but what I do know is he is very tough. And with a young offensive line, we need a tough QB that can sit back and take some hits.
Skins are going to be lucky if they do get a 6th rd pick. I think that if they dont trade him by tomorrow, Ramsey will be cut. The Redskins may have lowered their trade demand for QB Patrick Ramsey to a middle-round pick. The Dolphins spoke with the 'Skins about Ramsey but weren't willing to give up a second- or third-rounder. It's believed Washington has since dropped their initial demand. Mar. 1 - 10:01
