Cakes, Miano may have been referring to the Eagles-Jets game from 1987....the Jets were 'drilled' in that game - pouring rain throughout and they were definately trailing at halftime. The Kotite Eagles game the Jets were winning for most of it......just saying. Most home Jets games played in the rain have not worked out too well......
I've looked at his post again and think you are right. He is 33 or 34 now. He probably would have driven to the game himself in 1996 and even being a year or two shy of 21, he likely would have done some drinking in the parking lot and would have not left so early. The thing about the Jets trailing at halftime was an even better clue, of course. Either way, whether it was the '87 or '96 game, RichMiano was off on the Coslet thing by 3 years.
Geez. It's pouring here in SC,too. It's even going down to 25 tonight and in the teens the next 2 nights. I hope the east coast has an abundance of salt with all the freezing runoff thats going to be going on.
I think that we lose home field advantage here. If the stadium is only 1/4 full,it will resemble a Miami home game and make them feel comfortable.
Pissing me the fuck off. I had a 10:50 to Cancun out of LaGuardia this morning that got cancelled because of the wind. The fucking wind. I'm at JFK right now, waiting for my 6:15 to fall through. If I'm not sippin' a mojito in Meh-hico six hours from now, well I'll be God Damned.
Its fucking ridicolous that 4 of our home games it rains. Thats unheard of. 4/6 fucking rain. It usually only rains like once a season but 4 times? god hates us.
